Major Betcoin.ag Update Changes

...
@Betcoin.ag Instead of spamming this thread about your last update, wanna talk about what you tried to hide in it ?
https://www.betcoin.ag/hidden-vip-scheme-change
24 hours later still no official reaction while you seem to be very active in this thread...

I copy/paste the post in case the thread on your own website is nuked or whatever and your customers have the right now what you did hide from them since the last update.
"I was quite sure that 1 Chip Rake = 6 Status Points.
But today when I went to the VIP page it is stated that "1 Chip Rake = 5 Status Points".
https://www.betcoin.ag/vip

Just thought I had a bad memory on this one but it is confirmed that, at least, when you did announce your new VIP scheme in December '14 1 Chip Rake was equal to 6 Status Points:
https://www.betcoin.ag/betcoinag-announces-new-vip-players-club-bonus

If I did miss an announcement on your part about this change then I do apologize and welcome you to link me to it."

It is confirmed by other players since then that indeed you changed the rules in VIP scheme without telling anyone.
Still waiting for an official reaction.

They also didn't mention that now you earn points twice as fast in casino and sportsbook...

Do you think they are hiding that also?

Yes they were hiding it too. Because poker players would have been quite pissed off at having to take a reduction while sports and casino players got rates doubled at the expense of people that only play poker. Which means that the VIP program  for poker players  is an illusion. When enough players  reach high levels of rakeback to make it expensive for Betcoin  then they will shut it down or reduce it. They are playing  the poker  players  like a fiddle. They change everything around to fit their needs. The VIP rewards rates are  written on HTML web pages not paper.

Yeah, not only poker players, but also sports bettors and casino players are screwed cause they decrease the daily surprise box up to 3 days, unless they get 30 status points for 1000mbtc wager, especially for those big bettors like me, I have wagered over 160btc on sportsbook, damn I need them to double my status points of this bad update.

Hey Betcoin
yesterday I played some WPN games and generated more than 0.75$ as buy-in fee , but I only got 9 status points
are you not calculating the full fee when your players play WPN games ??
I want to know full info about the VIP and rakeback when we are talking about WPN games cause I'm turning to SNG games and everyone knows that rakeback is really important in SNG games

https://www.betcoin.ag/vip  I just found they decrease the program of poker, it was 1 chip rake = 6 status points, but now is 5 status points, they increased the program of casino and sportsbook, now wager 1 btc = 20 status points, it was 10 status points.

yes I know that the new VIP Level gives 5 points for every 1 chip rake , but I have generated 0.75$ only from SNGs that day ( which is around 3 chips )
I also played cash games and some micro tourneys , but gor only 9 points which is really weird
also yesterday I played 5 SNGs also and some tourneys , but didn't get any rakeback or status points today ( literally zero )
so I think there is a problem with the site

Great poker platform, I appreciate it so much (I usually play on this site, my name is also Gianluca95). I want to ask an information, how 1 BTC GTD work? Because I see that for partecipate I have to earn a 1st seat (Betcoin daily coin satellite, or something else).

Hello Gianluca95.  We certainly appreciate you playing with us and thank you for your question.  The Daily Coin 1 BTC GTD you can buy a seat into for 50 mbtc or you can earn a seat to for free by playing in a freeroll and advancing into each step or buying into a satellite and advancing from there.

You don't need to play in the satellite to play in the tournament but you can.

To the admin, have you considered a little raise of prize pool for the freeroll? There are many many people (at least 270 in every freeroll), and 10$ seems too low  Angry

What do you want from freerolls? they are giving away money for freerolls , why do you ask them to throw away more money? Play GTD tournament if you want more, with low buy in you can get a lot if you are good

Increasing the prizepool would only make even more players join.

Perhaps if they reduced them to $1 or $5 there would be fewer players and you would be happy?

You should look at other sites like Nitrogensports which only give out 1 chip, and still have 10-20 people playing. Most of the people just play for the fun, and not the money. 10$ seems good enough, you shouldn't be comparing it with the number of people playing it. Its free money and 10$ is more than enough for a freeroll. Even pokerstars offers 100$ for 18,000 people in their freerolls.

yeah, totally right, it is for fun, not for money, sometimes for training poker skills without risks, freeroll is a very good business cause it can attract more traffic to the site.

So and so, I'm not so secure about the fun, time of freeroll is in the middle between 3-5 hours and 5 hours of poker are so heavy for a player which only have fun. So, I think the same, 10$ is great, considering the other site, betcoin is the best Smiley

We certainly appreciate the response and we offer the daily freerolls, there is also a daily 10 mbtc freeroll with less players as well as numerous sponsored freerolls and options.  Thank you Ginaluca and everyone for your feedback.

Increasing the prizepool doesnt make people stay for long somehow they are only aim for winning only, the point is how to make people stay longer without increasing the prize pool. That sounds better rather than increase prize pool
