It won't be. This is obviously beyond their capabilities to handle. I just want to make sure I am first in line to receive my funds as it will be an epic shit storm in a day or two's time and the reality that it's not coming back gains some momentum. How can you believe that there is:
A. An attack at all, let alone one they can't handle
B. They are completely stumped on solutions
C. 2 days time is not ample to develop/hire help to provide solutions
It just doesn't make sense. Yes, I don't quite understand the gravity of an attack like this, I don't know much about coding or networking. But I do know that I am a customer of a service, and the service has been unavailable in excess of two days now. As a consumer, I can choose to do business with who I choose, and complain when I feel taken advantage of. I just want my money out of the site and I will be on my way. That's it.
You'll get your money off the site.
How can I believe:
A. I have seen it happen before. At seals and elsewhere. This is a DDoS attack. It's obvious really.
B. The solution to DoS is not always simple. It might involve server migration or a new host. SWC is most likely not running on a shared server. So they are responsible for all security. That involves databases, hashed passwords, private keys and so on.
C. Since SWC is (most likely) and X man shop (where x=<5) there is just no way they can go fixing this willy nilly. They have to discover/implement/test/repeat.
It takes time.
It almost always takes more time than you thought it would.
I personally understand you are concerned about your BTC.
May I ask how many chips you have on the site?
