I was logged into the client as well and playing.  Whatever issues they are having didn't stop me from getting disconnected while playing and then I couldn't reconnect:)

from SwC perspective, I am personally in charge of the MTT schedule and there is a revision that I have submitted to ST6 that we should see here soon, then after that schedule runs for a week I will be revising again.  Then again.  

user FIVEbetBLUFF has been helping me with suggestions to fill in some of the gaps we have in the action.  I also feel we may have too many total MTTs in the lobby, which may be cluttering the schedule and cannibalizing each other.  I feel we all want the biggest MTTs possible, and I vow to work constantly to that end.

Can you update us what specifically your intentions are?So fare it seems that only what you care about is
to save as many high stake MTT's as possible on expense mid stake MTT's,on every other poker site mid stake MTT's have much larger players field then high stake.You offer nothing to these players except 10 chips as small as possible ,essentially turbos.You have NOTHIG to offer average MTT player.Why?

Thanks very much for playing SwC.  It's our loyal player base that has made us the clear leader in bitcoin online poker.  I believe we will kill this attack like we have all before it.  We will treat this situation like every other challenge we have faced in the past, as a technical issue.  We will simply build our system to handle these attacks.  We will stop at nothing to defend this house.

As a poker player with a 1999 Paradise Poker account I completely understand you and have been in that situation myself in the past.  I don't believe this outage should be very long, although you must consider once we beat this version the attacker may change it up and once again achieve temporary success.

Personally, I'd bet we can play SwC within a few hours.  I don't hold much hope for it being smooth sailing all day though. 

Best of luck to ST6, I got word they are calling in Dr. Huh.  He should have the medicine.

We are actively fighting a DDoS.  There is no timetable.  We will fight it until we beat it.  No ransom note this time.  

ST6 fully mobilized and Dr. Huh was called in as well.

For realz. I have almost 1 coin on the site and this is all the money I have in the world.  I will be sleeping in a van by the river if this is immediately not fixed. going to be tough to get wifi by the river .

that is not possible.  Unfortunately the entire system is paused until it is back.

As a member of Seals since the beginning (yes, I remember 5 people in 50 chip WTA freerolls and playing freemoney HU4ROLLZ), I have seen Seals go offline before.  And Seals always comes back ASAP, just as good as ever.  I wish ST6 the best of luck in fending off the DDoS.  As a note to those of you who are panicking/demanding withdrawals: IMO money on Seals is perfectly safe.  Personally, I have >1 BTC on my account and havent lost any sleep over the fact that Seals has been having issues in the past few days.

Just making me rethink where to keep my bankroll.  Online poker is a leisure sport, and I should be able to access it whenever I can.  It's been down for over 12 hours, and has been malfunctioning for days.  I don't care about the technical aspect, or even completely understand what a DDos is.  All I know is that the other sites don't disappear for this length of time and I cannot access any of my own coin/money/bankroll, however you want to spin it.  There was no updates for hours, and for a "home-grown" type site, I don't know if I fully trust them being protected from this in the future.

Who axed you? All joking aside wish would trot out the new software . Would the new software be less prone to the dds attacks? I am sure new software would be less laggy more people more lag I have found as a previous user of mavens and briggs.

DDoS gave League of Legends fits for a week or so 2-3 years ago... was unplayable - and thats a 32m player base.
