The single biggest element to expanding MTTs is late registration imo. I know that it's not entirely SWC's fault, but it boggles me that there's major poker software that doesn't have a feature that has been possible on every poker site I've ever played for over a decade.

I actually love this feature.  You know, when the tourney starts, if its an overlay, how many people in it, exact payouts, etc.  I wish more sites would have this.

It's getting better I think.  The changes to the Saturday 5k are great.  We need the same structure or even a tad slower for the Sunday and definitely for the Friday night 5k.  Thanks for keeping working at it though!

I love that seals admin~micon  listen to players. I lobbied a long time to have sat 5k changed to deepstack or 3k starting chips from 1.5 and slower blind levels as did a lot of other players. It didn't happen overnight but its now the best value structured tournament imo on seals.  I would like to see blind levels slowed down especially in sun 20 chip 1k although changed from 1.5 to 3 starting levels are turbo and still a bingo fest after 1st break.

I think seals is headed in right direction with tournaments just a work in progress, I am ok with that . Please slow down the blind levels as most tourneys are super turbos.

Never liked late registration.  Always just viewed it as a way to get rid of overlays, and don't see how it advantages players in the least.  I suppose if there's no overlay, someone who doesn't care enough to show up on time might be slightly more likely to be dead money, but that seems a marginal benefit at best.  Even without an overlay, I'd rather have certainty as to what size the prize pool is, etc., right when it starts.

Agreed on all points there.  The regular tournaments as they stand right now should really be labelled turbos in the future.  Also agree that the Sat5K is now the best value out there.  The jump in blinds from 100-200/25 to 200-400/25 just kills the game at that point.  Progress is being made though, for sure.

I can see that point, I'd still like a 10-15 minute window at least just in case you're on the way home or running late or something.  The 4 hour window or whatever on WPN I've heard about is nuts though.

Hey guys! I was told to post to this forum because me and my roommates were IP banned last week for "multi-accounting" the DD freeroll. This is absurd, I simply got them into playing on your site. I've been playing for over a year and have been extremely helpful getting new players to join and helping them navigate the software. I understand you have to keep the Joey/Anita types from multi-accounting, but simply putting up a note that somebody from your IP is already playing (just like cash games) is clearly the play. My IP is 50.137.22.56 and my username is Citizen71348. My roomates are jeremy2046 and detanore (I think, it's some variation on his last name, you'll find the correct name in my references, which I can't see because I can't get into the site.)

Thanks for your help.

As far as the MTT schedule goes, it looks like it's really making progress, but as somebody said, the jump from 100/200 to 200/400 basically turns the game into flipaments. The tournaments with the 150/300 level are much better.

I don't like late registration, either, but I could see a 10-15 minute window making sense. Other sites keep it open for like an hour, which is terrible.

Also, more tournaments need breaks.

That's the Big BTC. It costs 500 to enter (.5 BTC, about $350-400 ish?) and typically it has just over 40 people.

The schedule is definitely getting better.  I like the new additions, and some of the holes are being filled.

I know that with the smaller player pool you don't want too many tournaments.  But on the other hand when I would see that there was only one tournament worth playing for hours it made me feel like not playing at all.

For the structure - I completely agree with the others about the jump from 100/200/25 to 200/400/25.  It's horrible.

I actually think the structure for the "Late Night Rebuy" would be perfect as a standard structure:

Level    SBlind    BBlind      Ante
    1        10        20         0
    2        15        30         0
    3        20        40         0
    4        30        60         0
    5        50       100         0
    6        75       150         0
    7       100       200         0
    8       100       200        25
    9       150       300        25
   10       200       400        25
   11       300       600        50
   12       400       800        50
   13       600      1200        75

You can even keep each tournaments current level lengths and starting stacks.

Just adding one or two levels wouldn't make the game last much longer but it would make them so much more playable.

I asked this when I first joined and didn't get a response.  A friend signed up under me but I don't think I receive anything from it.  Decent games, generally good customer support and excellent cash in cash out times.  I played on FTP for a long time (hundreds of thousands of FTP pts), played a bit on Cake/Jucy Poker before cashing out become nearly impossible, and found this site a few weeks ago.  Really like it.

Thing is, everyone can create a new account in seconds even without an e-mail address. So there isn't really anything free for new players (unless you get really lucky and an affiliate trusts you to give u some chips to start with.)

There are still two free things available to new players.  The big one is the DonkDown freeroll on Wednesdays at 10:30 PM EST.  Another is there are these 66 player sit-and-go-freerolls that go off from time to time and can be found under the SNG tab.  There's also a "free" subtab under the SNG tab that will have it, usually by itself, if it's around.

The 66-er generally only goes off at times of low traffic, so you have to snipe for it a bit.
