PoS parameters:
- algo: we use PoS II from Magi Coin with little bit of tweaking
- 8% interest rate
- average maximum number of coins generated by PoS per day: around 446 000, which is 6,1% of current supply rate
- min coin age: 2 hours
- how to stake: just keep your wallet online. the longer it is online the more secure is whole network. if you cannot keep your wallet online 24/7
this is still fine but you will earn bit more interests if it is online all the time
- recommended size of transactions in a wallet: if your wallet is big (e.g. bigger than 5-10 mil) it makes sense to split it into smaller pieces.
in theory the best transaction size is 2 mil.

Is there a max coin age for PoS staking?

I don't know how much the doge community donated Cheesy but they sponsored a bobsled team on the olympics Cheesy

It was the equivalent of USD $30,000 at the time, in DOGE.   A lot of zeros in that Tx.

I'm amazed at the rate of donations!
Keep it up, and with a little movement in the price for NOBL, and this could easily be one of the biggest community driven Promotions I've ever seen!

Agreed, you ROCK noble community Cheesy

I am happy I found this community good group here all around.. We all get into together Smiley

congratulations to all on 500  Smiley

yes, really great! Nobody thought we can reach that after Rofo laid his efforts down here. But a big thanks to eagleflies and joe for the great work in the PoS switch! Smiley nice community!

With the switch and NoblePay in the making we can see higher volume imo.

@eagleflies: do you still have contact to joe or is he out?

can we change the OP?

Yes, we have good communication with Joe.

I am also in contact with Rofo. He usually answers my messages. He did update the OP to put there two lines at the top with notification about switch to PoS. Then I requested another update but there was bit of delay on Rofo's side.

Anyway we have an agreement that Rofo will modify OP according to community wishes after transition is complete.

OP re-design

James is taking care of this. But if you or anyone else want to help with this OP re-design feel free to offer your help.

NobleCoin @NobleCoin  ·  25. Feb.
I've been asked to let you know $NOBL PoS switch tentative date is 3rd to 5th of March. Info: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=402667.msg10476360#msg10476360 …. #altcoins #crypto

why is rofo posting in that way? it is the official noble account so it sounds a bit strange when he says "i have been asked"
maybe the other dev , asked him if he could post it or smth?

Yeah, that isn't right. Rofo, if you don't want to participate in the PoS switch, then please hand the account over to someone else who can give more cheerful sounding updates.

hope he isn't putting obstacles in Noble's way. I always appreciated his work etc. but sometime his actions don't make sense to me  Roll Eyes

He is clearly close to burning out. Hope he can keep it together.

Hey guys, i have idea to put some links on my Bitcoin News Android application on some websites for bitcoin/altcoin. For testing purposes i can make it with Noble coin web page address if you are interested. I will make this for free and only accept btc/noble donations from people who want to donate.
