The Great Cryptocurrency Anonymity Debate Intensifies as Vertcoin Tests Stealth Addresses is that true?
There's no debate actually, the other "anonymous" coin is just a distributed -but centralized- coin mixer. 40% instamined distributed -but centralized- coin mixer.

See price is increasing again, without adjusting block rewards.
VTC is a coin to hold for longterm!

Only when the coin is a good one. And this is definitely one of them.

I heard about this coin since around the time it came out, but never really bought in or mined it. Now that scrypt ASIC miners are really coming out mining that algorithm seems futile with what I own. I still want to mine so I feel VTC/scrypt-n is the best logical choice for me. It seems to have kept a strong following all this time and is actually going places. So I'm pointing my miner at VTC and bought in. I'm sure others will come to the same conclusion. I just don't really trust the longevity of some of the higher priced coins. We will see : )

I would highly suggest mining/investing some VTC soon. Especially before the 450 MH/s Scrypt units are released. If you have any questions on getting set up, feel free to stop by VTC's subreddits: www.reddit.com/r/vertcoinwww.reddit.com/r/vertcoinmining
Make sure you merge mine to maximize mining profits. Right now you can mine MON and PLX. I actually hold on to MON because it's backed by the developers and used as a test bed for new features (ex: stealth address). PLX is useless (pre-mined), in my opinion, but has still endured some pumps. I also highly encourage mining on P2Pool 1,2, or 3. I'm not entirely sure what hash rate arrays correspond to each P2Pool network, but you can do some digging around. When mining VTC, try to aim for 45% of your normal Scrypt mining performance. (ex: Scrypt = 1,000 KH/s | Scrypt-N(VTC) = 450 KH/s) Welcome and happy mining =)

Nice and easy grow. I don't want to see mega pump cause this will be followed with media dump. Such a coin need a easy and stable grow as we can see at the moment. I'm still mine VTC and believe in this coin p.s. i forgot to say a BIG THANKS to the dev team for a great job. It's be a pleasure to help for vert development. I'm familiar with html, php, wordpress and a lot of design programs.

price pumb and down
Someone said that in reddit yesterday after it went from .70 USD to .85 USD and back down to .75 USD. Woke up today and it was .90 USD and now it's at .85 USD. I'm excited to wake up tomorrow and see what it is.

I have to admit, I was getting down on crypto and vert in general.. my big gambles, vert, blk, and a few others all took a dump. The stealth news should give vert a nice shot in the arm once it goes live.. the big question is when to sell

Heh. I just brought this up to someone on Reddit asking a similar question. C+P: A few of us were discussing that there should be a reward cut out of each block that is sent to P2Pool node operators. EX: Block Solved = 50 VTC (Block Reward) - 5 VTC (Node Operators) If everyone mined on a node to dip into that 5 VTC per block, the block reward distrubution would essentially be the same... except VTC's network would be completely decentralized at that point.

If u buy on hype sell on hype... market cap 1-10m is constant changing area por PnD... Top 10 is preaty stable... I just buy more coin in which i belive... ^^ So BLK , VTC , ANC.... Before December 2013 all alts got dump and mega pump with BTC pump. ONE thing i hate in VTC heat while minig and is summer comming

So, it doesn't help.
