I really like VTC but i had to sell too, market doesn't like the mining coins. If you say inflation, they run away.

Yes i made huge loss, but will invest btc in other more promising coins.

The coin i bought is already up 30%, that's more fun then watching decline every day

If you made a new coin now with specs of VTC it would not have higher then 100K marketcap.
(this is not because the coin is bad, but investors only want POS+ANON)

How is it that darkcoin with failed a masternode implementation is worth so much and vtc with successful stealth addresses
is going through the floor?
Can anyone from the Vertcoin team explain why their work is not valued in this crypto community?

Even this therad has a subdued or even tired feel about it, compared to the energetic hype in the threads about newer coins.

FYI Ltc thread in this same board is also dead, it was still dead too when ltc boomed to 48$ so you couldnt say a dead thread mean anything.

Vertcoin devs need to explain how Self Addresses work..On this thread.

I have no idea about Vertcoin, and this thread is the only information I could even find about Vertcoin. Devs need to be more active on this thread....install some damn confidence in people to be honest...

It has been explained multiple times. Here's a few good links to look over. I'm not a dev.

Vertcoin made this post in the AMA on Reddit, as well.

our situation referring the dump waves is still an issue.

I still like the idea about spiking the difficulty when a huge increase in network hashrate occurs.

First i say that i do not know much about specifics of how the diff change algos and stuff works.
So not sure if i make any good sense.

But what about such idea:
When multipools enter they cause spike in network hash rate.
and as hash rate increases diff increases i do not know if it is linear relation or not.

But what if in case of big spike in hash rate change, the difficulty rate would overreact.
So lets say 600mh enters suddenly network then diff would jump exponentially (overreacting) and would take some time to calm down to the level it should be at such network hashrate.
Like creating resistance or inertia.
So when Multipool jumps in it must initially stay in not profitable environment and wait for it to become profitable. So all kind of jumping is discouraged.

And if network hasrate grows in normal slow rate then such resistance would be practically non existent.

This payment with the anonymiser is a big win. I am surprised prices are not picking up after this.
