For me as a store owner in the Netherlands, No. But i'm sure it will not take to long before HK merchants start accepting DGB.

Hong Kong would be a great market because it's the gateway into China and being high tech people are willing to try new technology and invest in it more than most places.  

I like that the dev is open about his identity and based in Hong Kong.  If Digibyte can succeed in a relatively small market like HK it would be a great starting point.

Hi there, I looked around for this cryptocurrency, found it interesting somewhat.
But then I stumbled into this video.
I find it interesting, but I noticed some problem with the whole thing, doesn't look convincing and professional to me.
I am a graphic and communication expert, so here are my hints:
1) first of all the name. DIGIBYTE. What does that stand for? A byte is already digital, it can't be analogic. So digibyte essentially means nothing. Why not DigiCoin? Just to be original? Bad choice. DigiCoin would have been so much better. Even DCoin would have been better. I know it's difficult now to change the name, but you should, in my opinion.
2) in general all the graphics looks unprofessional. Logos here and there look quite bad. I am a graphic, so I know what I'm talking about. The D shape is ok, but the blue color is banal. I'd choose another shade of blue, more hi-tech inspiring.
Good luck with the project.

So far so good, Ive been running if for a few weeks and all software I personally use works fine.
Seems to be a Windows 7 meets Windows 8.1, I personally really liked Windows 8.1 and the lack of a start button really didnt bother me but hey!...

Behind every fiat there is a government with all its administrative/ information resources - therefore everybody knows that fiat in question IS money. Digibyte doesn't have that of course.

I call the people that do this Knights because it is them that defend the coin and boy does it need defending.
I tell you what if you put a usb miner to work in the DigiHash pool where they take 3% to support development. If you leave your rewards untouched and in your wallet for a month after you have mined them, then I will pay you 6% back out of my own pocket!
