Very interesting read starting here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=895020.700

Going either backwards or forwards.  Wink

Very intresting indeed but i just cannot figure out why it's pumping this big,Insiders pumping because of news? a x100 is just not natural and there will be allot of bagholders.
The pump is the only thing they talk about right?

yea...mostly. lyra2 algorithm was mentioned a bit. if you haven't read through all of it, its worth a read...for a rare pump (nearly x100) like this. see what people say and their reactions, etc. lol...

[EDIT]

price just dropped down to 100ksat. lol...that was fast. massive pump, massive dump.

Edit: WHAT IS THIS?
[/quote]

I heard groestl algorithm killed myraidcoin and asian mining group sitting with close to 250 million digibyte waiting to be dumped as they abused one of the algorithms. Multi Algo is good if you have coin with very low supply, under 21 million. snip

The mining is good these days while the network hashrate stays at very nice levels when seen from a security standpoint.

Very nice.

Steady as she goes.  Cool

My biggest concern with this coin has always been supply per day. While the market volume as low as they are miners aren't even able too get rid of coins.  My friend is a big miner and this is his favourite coin he will defend it till he dies but why wouldn't he? He can make a nice little living off it.  I asked him what is in it for me as I am not a miner. His response "you can continue putting food on my plate" laughing... Without any sort of media as many stores can accept it as they want if only 24 is buying his lunch there it is kinda irrelevant.

Although I respect where you are coming from please keep in mind that crypto is in it's infancy. The supply per day is in your best interest right now. Early adopters win.

Jared and team are laying the foundation through technical features and awareness.

Grab a couple million DGB and check back in 36 months.

I got a Antminer U3  Grin , and I'm trying to solo mine to digibyte-qt on ubuntu linux, and it seems I can't git it to work! Here's my digibyte.conf file:

Quote
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=ant
rpcpassword=u3
server=1
daemon=1
txindex=1
debug=1
algo=sha256d
rpcport=14022
port=12024
addnode=74.208.230.160
addnode=216.250.125.121
addnode=69.164.198.161
addnode=66.228.56.115
addnode=104.200.17.141

I save the digibyte.conf file and restarted digibyte-qt, and it said it had to rebuild db or something like that so I waited until it was done, then I started CGMiner with this command:

Quote
./cgminer -o 127.0.0.1:14022 -u ant -u3 --au3-freq 250 --au3-volt 765

And CGMiner gave me this crap  Sad :

Quote
[2035-12-12 12:12:30] Started cgminer 7.8.9
[2035-12-12 12:12:30] Loaded configuration file solo.conf
[2035-12-12 12:12:30] Probing for an alive pool
[2035-12-12 12:12:30] Waiting for work to be available from pools.

And then CGMiner quit on me. I open digibyte-qt debug window and gave it thees commands:

Quote
getmininginfo

{
"blocks" : 140243,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"pow_algo_id" : 0,
"pow_algo" : "sha256d",
"difficulty" : 0.00024414,
"difficulty_sha256d" : 0.00024414,
"difficulty_scrypt" : 55.30653217,
"difficulty_groestl" : 0.00024414,
"difficulty_skein" : 0.00024414,
"difficulty_qubit" : 0.00024414,
"errors" : "",
"genproclimit" : -1,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false,
"generate" : false,
"hashespersec" : 0
}

Quote
setgenerate true -1

Quote
getmininginfo

{
"blocks" : 140243,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"pow_algo_id" : 0,
"pow_algo" : "sha256d",
"difficulty" : 0.00024414,

"errors" : "",
"genproclimit" : -1,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false,
"generate" : true,
"hashespersec" : 0
}

Now I restarted CGMiner  Undecided :

Quote
./cgminer -o 127.0.0.1:14022 -u ant -u3 --au3-freq 250 --au3-volt 765

And CGMiner gave me this shit again  Cry :

Quote
[2035-12-12 02:00:00] Started cgminer 7.8.9
[2035-12-12 02:00:00] Loaded configuration file solo.conf
[2035-12-12 02:00:00] Probing for an alive pool
[2035-12-12 02:00:00] Waiting for work to be available from pools.

I been googling  Huh this for hours and found just a bunch shit examples, i'm going to go to bed i been up all night trying to figure it out. There needs to be a setting in side the wallet where you just type you username and password and the wallet does the configuration for you, so you just got to start your rig to local ip:port and username and password.

Grin
