@coinomat, Thank you for the intrest in Digibyte indeed but we all agreed on not paying for votes anymore.
I hope we can see Digibyte on your service in the near future just because it's a great coin.

Best

Just to revive the old calculator can look into new variants if of interest?

Just wanted to bring back up the DGB calculator I made quite a while ago.
The post from below explains its use and how to modify if required (Downloadable version is currently set to Euros)

The calculator can be downloaded from Google Drive (You will need to sign in and the use File and Make a Copy)

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AvKAa4anuhytdDNmbzVENVFkVUx1SzdpRlpQanZDWlE&usp=sharing

The Currency is set to EUR, This can be changed by changing the following:-

Currency conversion using Google Finance, Select field B18 and change the "CURRENCY:EURUSD" to "CURRENCY:GBPUSD" for example. Obviously this uses the typical three character currency identifier.

Then...  BTC and LTC reference a script within Script Manager, Digibyte (DGB) displays the value in BTC this does a lookup to the Cryptsy API (http://pubapi.cryptsy.com/api.php?method=singlemarketdata&marketid=167)

BTC and LTC use a lookup from BTC-E API, The supported currencies you can modify are:-
Currency List: USD, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, NZD, PLN, RUB, SEK, SGD, THB

You can then modify the {currency = "usd";} within Tools > Script Manager to GBP for example.

Then obviously just edit the fields that currently have the Euro entered.

This looks more complicated than it is!

Hopefully be of use to some, And by all means please feel free to edit and distribute to promote this fantastic coin.

If you want to tip, It would be very much appreciated Smiley

DGB: DP8ktHtMXWZ2kTotMLBjs7m47tizNbCqXd

Perhaps went a little overboard with branding but I personally love the little fella! Ive added just BTC and LTC as I think these serve most people needs, You can add other coins using the API lookups but DGB is all you need Smiley

Coinomat, when you want us to vote soo bad, why don't you just add us to the website?
It's all about the btc right?
No. We want to gauge the community response, select the coins which will actually have transactions. Cast free votes if you don't want to pay.

Lol no.
Look I have to pay the programmer who does the integration, I think it's obvious. Integrating a new coin costs around $1000 for us. This is not much, but anyway I want to see some actual exchange operations later you know. And cover the integration costs.

Yeah might be the way to go, thank you.
Actually we provide much more than Coinpayments does -
we give the coins all the fiat transfers they need - bank transfers, withdrawal to Visa/Master, withdrawal to debit cards.

I would second the comments made earlier by 24hralttrade and others about not paying for votes - but appreciating your interest in DGB.

I appreciate your position.  I understand coinomat is a business, and you need to make decisions that best serve your business.  I believe that DGB is a great coin.  I cannot predict the exchange volume that DGB would have on coinomat.

I think that coinomat seems like an interesting service.  I suppose it is similar to Shapeshift - although I haven't directly compared the fees.  And, from everything I can determine, coinomat is working to promote and develop services for digital currency communities.  However, I do have some reservations because coinomat is part of the same business that owns NXT coin, CoinoUSD, OKpay, and EgoPay.   OkPay has had some unclear customer service issues and  EgoPay had a pretty serious security breach from inside the company earlier this year.  Additionally, it's not clear how coinomat uses exchange volumes to support their own digital currencies (NXT and CoinoUSD).  I would hope that if DGB is added to the coinomat service - any exchange volume created would be in the best interest of DGB ... and not as a way to support a different digital currency.

I hope that we can continue to have a good conversation and I thank you for your interest in adding DGB to coinomat.

has there been any news about the hard fork ?

Quote Jared on the Digibyteforum.
"We still plan on doing the DigiSpeed hardfork but it is the most significant hardfork we have undertaken to date. There are many, many things that have popped up we did not forsee so we want to take our time to do things right.

We also have put in on a lower priority. We are focusing on DigiByte gaming, the new wallet and finalizing the tipbot in order to launch a massive marketing campaign. As we bring on more users we will hopefully bring on more interested C++ programmers.

We feel getting DigiByte out there and known should be our #1 priority. However, we still are working toward the DigiSpeed hardfork.
