It's good digibyte is doing a roadmap, worked for Gulden. Must follow what works in the industry.

Jared Tate, [14.10.16 02:14] Just to let everyone know I have been working around the clock on a project for some potential major DigiByte partners and have ran into some unexpected issues (bug bashing). So I have not finished the complete road map and write up for everyone. Most likely I will get it out by Monday. I also would like to mention we have a working test v 4.13 DigiByte core wallet (0.13 bitcoin core merge).

I like the crypto world well considering bitcointalk is full of trolls and shitty users like you tons of devs do not come here very often if at all.

Dev seems very busy -thats good! 3 days its not big deal and He inform us about delay because he very busy with potential major partners. Its more important than 3 days delay on road map its just paper but investots even potential sounds better. So relax and enjoy a weekend.

These things don't have a habit of repeating themselves and it has worked for Gulden with the whales on bittrex having picked up on this, to impress the poloniex traders dgb will need something fresh. I recommend calling the roadmap something like this. "DigiByte Blockchain Development Program"

Hey guys few quick questions please.
1 - Why does the diff keep jumping all the time with DGB? I notice just now it was around 200, then straight to 1000 then back to 500?.
2 - When is the next halving for DGB?
3 - Are all 5 algos here to stay? I dont want to invest in a miner and find that a algo gets removed.

Difficulty jumps around because mining does. Sometimes people bring hired guns to the party and the hashing on any particular algorithm can double or even treble for periods. Digibyte does not halve like bitcoin but continuously, new DigiByte production decreases by 1% every month. I am not aware of any current plan to change any of the algorithms mining DigiByte but I am sure that if the devs and community felt it necessary, then this could happen.

Is the diff moving because of other mining pools?

I can't think of or know any site yet where you can get a totally accurate picture of what is going on here but Whattomine site will get you in the ball park.

flag my last message, I came across a business that already does this for lol and cs:go so I have forwarded the information to jared to see if he can strike a deal with them
Official DigiByte will not get involved with this because they are based in Hong Kong and they have very restrictive laws for gambling there. There is absolutely nothing stopping anyone else from implementing dgb into one of these platforms, so I'd go back to making it a community project if you want to see this happen.

There is absolutely nothing stopping anyone else from implementing dgb into one of these platforms, so I'd go back to making it a community project if you want to see this happen. I am aware of this, but talking to them about using dgb as an additional payment platform is not illegal, as it is arms length away and the official dgb team has nothing to do wit the site it would however increase dgb adoption as the people who have earned dgb while playing would have a place they could go use the dgb <edit> I am actually from HK and lived there most of my life, I know the rules around gambling there, as I have mentioned in previous posts, but getting dgb accepted as a payment platform is not the DIGIBYTE team running a gambling site <edit2> or people from the community could put together a package about why they should accept digibyte, including things like the amount of players currently earning dgb. this site I found would be. perfect match for dgb I must apologise though, my wording could have been better, by strike a deal, I meant chat with them and maybe help them implement DGB as a payment platform, I in no way intended for The dGB team to get involved in any way other then that
sure. you can talk to them about it and i think its perfectly alright provided its all your (or some other party's) doing. but in terms of getting anything done that requires their involvement (Jared and his DigiByte Team) or any hands-on-work (including promotion or marketing or partnership or collaboration or deals, etc), they won't do anything that has to do with betting, gambling, etc. it will just curb their capabilities to develop DigiByte overall because of what they have gotten into IF they are to. As for helping, they will probably just direct you to whatever digibyte-related resources that are already available on the internet such as github, etc. but to get their hands involved with coding for ya (or whatever parties) to do such and such, tricky...very tricky. so they would most probably turn down the request, etc. When it comes to the Law, its all about playing safe. not playing with the words. Its the same with money. whether its USD or EUR or JPY, you can do whatever you want with it. And HTML coding, setting up a website for said purposes, you can do whatever with it too. But the parties behind issuing the currency or the creators of HTML ain't gonna lift a finger for those said purposes. All in all, you (or whatever parties) may just simply carry on setting up a gambling/sports+game betting website if so desired, with or without the DigiByte Team consent or even a discussion about it. the communities can get involved because they aren't exactly part of the DigiByte Team. But every country has their own law with regards to gambling, betting. its very very.....troublesome to be honest. you gotta be a master at this law stuff otherwise they gonna bust-and-rekt out of whoever isn't licensed by them. no easy way with this. its the 'No way' or the 'High Way'.

Way too manys coins exist for a huge pump IMO Its a coin aimed at micro transactions so naturally its going to have more coins (dgb is max 21 billion i believe). Dogecoin has 100 billion out doesn't it? I think DGB has around 6 billion. Dogecoin doesn't pump that much or dump. The truth is that any coin can pump. The available supply doesn't dictate a pump potential. Potcoin i believe has less but did you see it pump? Its the groups that acquire slowly then rapidly raise it that cause concern. These groups however would hold no power if owners of other coins and those without any didn't succumb to greed and try and ride this wave and fall into their trap. If pumpers pumped but normal buy/sell processes continued without this greed then the pumpers would make nothing and spend money to raise it for everyone. Thats the harsh truth of it. Investors simply need to look at the graph of the past 6 months and find the normal levels and NOT buy when its rapidly raised. There is no such thing as a free lunch so don't try and get one. Just buy at normal rates and use the coin as a currency and you'll be fine. Those whinging that dgb lost them money (or any alt for that matter) are likely those that tried to ride a quick wave to riches and failed, and rather than blame their greed and foolishness would rather vent it in a public forum like its no fault in any capacity of theirs.
