You may want to check this: http://ultracoin.net/configgen_raw.htmlI tried the settings for my 280x with 3gb ram and NFACTOR 14. The cards are dead right after I start the bat file. (OFF status). I guess It won't work for me. |

Imho you are correct. The higher the N factor the poorer the performance for high end cards. R9 240 and 260 are much better now. IIRC I could only get 10 or 11 kh/s with a 7970 without HW errors. Not worth it to me. |

Could someone create a gambling site for UTC as a profit engine for development/investment cost. Something like a multipool, gambling site where either all the winnings were paid out in UTC or all the profits from the winnings were used to buy UTC. Bad idea?

But I guess the problem is that the hashrate is not spread properly with the danger of a 51% attack and the network getting forked ! If this were true would it be a good idea to close your wallet and keep it offline? If it forks the developers have to release a new wallet. But this is not the case. Something else is happening. |
