I think that at some time this coin will be worth more, but for that to happen a few days of positive numbers need to be shown on CMC.

You don't need to run the command on an unencrypted wallet!

Ive been reading through the last pages and to be honest im a little insulted.People say do more, promote more, give news every day....I am working 10 hours per day on UTC and to hear this kind of news is disheartening.Every day i wake up, and i have 10 PM`s on btc-e to answer, 10 on bitcointalk, 10/20 e mails.Answering all this takes so much time that i have less time to spend on UTC, so these suggestions are actually creating the thing you are "observing"

It was the weekend last 2 days, so maybe there wasnt as much activity,perhaps you can imagine that i need some me-time after spending 10 hours per day on UTC  for 3 months now?

People are behaving like children wanting a braveheart speech every day,and its making me very crancky,i am nobodys leader and i am not your guru.I made a coin that is asic resistant and very fast,and i have professionals working for me in various areas

My job is to make things happen, not make news.Do you have any idea how demotivating it is when you work so so hard and all you hear is : its not enough...

-This coin is 17 days old and people are forgetting that is was volume leader on freshmarket in 2 days, having more then any other coin combined,but then that exchange got hacked

-then getting onto crypto trade and turning this 9 btc daily volume exchange into a 285 btc daily volume exchange, bringing somany new sigups (thousands) that the site could not handle the load.The kind people of crypto trade have now fixed all the problems.

-Then mtgox decided to decieve everybody with some news from 2011,resulting in the loss of general buyers confidence.......

-Pools getting DDOS every single day,

-people hiring fud spreaders for money to spam this thread and chatboxes in a demotivational campain to detur buyers....

All these factors combined have created a situation where UTC price is now very low,but please realise coinowners and devs do not make the price,the community makes the price by demand.(offcourse promotion helps with this but price is not under our direct control.)

What im saying is, waking up to this price, and then reading how im not doing enough is very insulting, since my entire life currently revolves around UTC.

I already said this many many times, 99% of my job is invisible work ( making new partnerships with exchanges, communicating with gamemakers,other uses for UTC) and 1% is bringing out the news when something has become a concrete partnership.

So people who want some kind of great news every day are very unrealistic since i just explained the 99/1% ratio this would mean that i am working 100 hours per day, which is humanly impossible.....

So lets reduce the finger pointing culture into an individually pro active community,like the gentleman who has offerd his own 1000UTC to an exchange......Nobody is stopping you from making a blog, making a youtube movie,telling a friend, givinge your family some UTC.....But every time i get a PM about doing this they want a big fat bounty.......I you want more results------> do more, i am only 1 human being and there are only somany hours in the day,but nobody can tell i am not doing enough, because its simply not true.

Crypto is rapidly becoming a self imploding system, where hype is more important then content.UTC is intended a counterpart for this troublesome development.If i wanted to i could make a coin with 99% fluff and 1% content and perhaps it would grow faster then UTC.....doesnt this worry you for the future?

Also: please note the fact which i have also stated many times before,there  are ongoing negotiations with large exchanges which i am keeping silent since its very rude and unprofessional to disclose before a concrete partnership has been formed......Certain exchanges have given me concrete timelines as to when to aproach them.


if you guys knew what i am working on price would certainly be 2 dollars already.....Our planning/pipeline goes as far as 2015.....

Thanks for the response Bumface. I realise that you are having a hard time and appreciate such a detailed answer.

I think that all the community really needs is some short posts / tweets on a daily basis just to let us know that you are still working hard. I am not saying that you are not, but the community seems to have this impression that the coin is going downhill and that you, ziggy and anyone else that is working on this coin are going to abandon it. Some reassurance goes a long way towards keeping people happy.

Let me give you an example - Some warning of yesterdays nfactor change, or some word from you or the devs after the change might have made a big difference. Some of us worked for hours on the coins behalf helping people to get rigs back up and running.

I am not criticising, however you and your team have a direct influence on the visibility, popularity and profitability of this coin. All the community is asking is for you to remain visible, enthusiastic and keep us in the loop whenever possible.

I appreciate that you are working very hard for UTC.

But it seems as you don't realize that just maybe the 1% you provide to the community (who as you say "make" the price) isn't the right 1%.
We don't want "great" news everyday. We just want something. You working 10 hours for UTC is great. But tell us a bit about it.

Heck, "Still negotiating with big exchanges @ 17/2/2014" is more than enough.
Then "No progress. Still waiting. @ 18/2/2014" etc etc. That isn't so hard is it?
No need to disclose any details of parties involved.

If you just did that everyday which would take you far LESS time than what you just posted, you wouldn't need to explain yourself so much.
Answer is simpler than you think to improve the community morale.

BTW, did you know in advance about the N-factor change that happened today?
