Does anybody more has problems with the new wallet download ?

I downloaded yesterday the new wallet from the UTC website Ultracoin-release-1.0.2-qt.rar and run file Ultracoin-qt.exe.

The new wallet opened quickly and started automatically synchronize the blocks.  

I placed a UTC quick button on the desktop.

After sync I could send UTC to and from Cryptsy from the new wallet. Everything went well till that moment.

Just one hour ago, one day later, I started my laptop and unfortunately the quick button on the desktop did dent worked anymore and I couldn't open the wallet.

I delete the quick button on the desktop which did dent work anymore and did run again the file Ultracoin-qt.exe.

After the very long start procedure (+12 minutes) the wallet opened and I was happy to see my coins where still in the wallet.

Does anybody has the same experience

Or has anybody good advice

the quick button does no mater to the wallet,it is only a address.every time when i open the wallet,it takes a long time.But it takes no more than 5 minutes. So it's wierd that it takes 12 minutes .Keep watching ,and try to open the wallet several times to make sure how long it takes .

The only way to help UTC is  shut down the nitro1 and nitro2 for 1 weeks or longer,for there are so many orphan blocks in other pools.only the pool which has the majority hashrate has no orphan blocks.

Yes that's sad But shutting down pools isn't the solution IMO or is the ultimate solution . It's been quite good for the last week but since nitros are open again everybody is trying to get there. Any new miners are also going there so recruiting should be stopped. This harms UTC and all other miners

Who ever mined today coins on utc.greekpool.eu? I have over the night why that happened just 100 coins, although the pool as before shows that with my speed I should be getting 350 coins. Moreover, in the last hour the number of coins produced has not changed as part of the coins was not yet confirmed and remained unchanged. Yakmayner works as expected and I see that the blocks are processed properly.

What happened? Yakmayner works but no coins are mined. HW no errors.

Today on greekpool wallet not working properly but now is fixed.

So my another 250 coins that I had to get there the day I do not get? And my setup worked in an empty all day in this pool?

YES that sad and nitro open registration. So ppl go to nitro mine and others pools got a lot of orphans..
But very very soon will be Multipool UTC and dedicated pool UTC!!!

I ask you two questions.
What is your UTC wallet adress?

And another important question?
You are with UTC because is very profitability to mine or something else ?

I think wallet launching time is linked with HDD speed (I see HDD led blinking while starting wallet) and processor (just check task manager during wallet start). If you had SSD and a decent CPU it should start much quicker IMHO. It takes about 5 minutes on my computer.

Hello Bumface and Dev-team,

I have two questions;

1;
Many (future) traders in UTC are no whizkids, just like me.
When V3 or higher is available, please make the download procedure more easier then now it is at V1020.
So please think about noobs like me, we al have difficulty's with up/downloading of updates because there are big risk at stake because of the treasury in our wallet.
So think with your dev-team about a easy and safe noob-proof setup of the update-procedure for the new and upcoming wallet updates....

I'd suggest looking into Yacoin's new wallet code...interface is excellent and way better for newbs.

Bumface and dev team....yes it can be more simple.... please develop the new wallet versions like that (simple and newby proof) !!!

Pls don't underestimate how much noobs and newbie's (like me) there are now and there will be much more in time if we get more marketing and exposure.

We don't want future new traders to run away because the wallet is to difficult to download....

It is very bad that my setup worked the whole day wasted because greekpool had problems that could not promptly corrected. I wish he would shut down completely until full correction of errors , because in this case, my setup automatically switched to other pools , such as nitro , for example.

What I did the first thing when I saw that greekpool has problems with extraction of coins ? Correctly , immediately went back to nitro2 coins as there are extracted well . While greekpool not eliminate the problem, I will remain at or just 2 nitro nitro .

 I hope to UTC because the future. Already a few weeks for me to get UTC at no cost-effectiveness , as 90 % of the money that I can get from their existing sales price will go to paying off electricity bills . So I do not sell them , and keep hoping that their price would rise to at least $ 1.

The fact that we in Russia crypto currency can not buy anything extra , so Mining principally engaged in that would receive money from the sale of coins and spend them to life .
