Blockexplorer is giving me headaches again. Anything going on with the new one, or it was abandoned?
Not at all abandoned. I just have limited time to work on it right now. It will come to life in the near future. I know we need it badly, but my time is divided right now. http://utcchain.info/ donations help me allocate more time to this, but are certainly not required by anyone. |

awesome to wake up to all this positivity guys, Things are definatly looking up for UTC, we have heard alot of wonderfull news in the past days :
We found very capable devs.
2 succesfull wallet updates.
I have been invited to attend a convention in slovenia.
a new pool has been built by our buddy Thiago (fees are going towards a DEV fund for conventions and other expenses)
a multipool is built.
very positive developements around a payment processor for webstore`s,
the price went up.
Dcgirl`s arbitrage tool is being finalised.
Minecraft plugin is being conceptionalised.

There are dozens of other coins waiting for their time and new coins coming out. It is nice to read this thread and that everybody here believes in this coin but unfortunately it's not enough. I've been trading on stock exchange for a few years now and I know what people write on forums about companies they invested: "to the moon", "it will be big", "buy while it's cheap" etc  These all is only wish for thinking until something really happens in our case changing block reward (although I personally don't believe it'll change something) or a game plugin. utcmultipool.com is now online. Please pop in and test it. During the test I am going to switch to coins less profitable (for short period only) but with low difficulty level in order to find blocks quicker and test payout system.
We will appreciate your constructive criticism.
What's coming on:

Multipool looks good so far. hope we can find a block.
i will add my 180 Ghash SHA again later as it has been rented for 6 hours. I put one small 360 kh/s on scrypt.
Maybe add pandacoin (PND) as diff is low and its easy to find blocks to test the payout

Its peer to peer, so what ever you want to sell I think good start will be to sell/buy promo materials, like clothes with UTC logo etc. Who can make example modern t-shirt, cap or jogging suit with logo utc and sell on that side ? (maybe some boxer shorts fast like UTC ) Can anybody can do this or know who can do it ? Secured wallets UTC on modern pendrives with logo UTC.. etc. That will be great |

The best profit switching multipools give anything between 0.005 to 0.009 BTC per Mhash/day. At current (0.00008) price 0.005 btc can buy 62.5 UTC. This is has great potential ! and if the price does not go up by the block reward update this is to going to be, probably, the best way to scoop up cheap UTC until the price goes up. When the multipool is fully operational I will also switch over  |

The reason for this intervention is that we need to perform manual calculation of the number of coins and shares which have been found by the miners. We want to ensure that the coins ready for payout are correct.
