Our voting is going great as you are all aware!  Great support an initiative on behalf of all the UCMs out there.  As you also know, there were many pledged donations for a giveaway.  Just to keep you all in the loop, I am currently working with the treasurer to get all of the donations into the "Giveaway Wallet".  I want to ensure that the pot amount is accurately represented when I post it, along with the date and time for the drawing.  There were some additional donations, which I will elaborate on when I provide the update later.  I would like to say the information will be posted today, but we are all in different time zones and I want ensure that everyone has a chance to get their pledged donations into the giveaway wallet first.  Once the pot has been consolidated I will release the final update. 

This will be our biggest giveaway to date!  Stay tuned and do your best to make sure we meet the 100 vote requirement set forth by the donors.

 IMHO the drop in price is what happens when there has been nothing to raise the coins value in some time. Why would anyone want a coin that they can't buy things with? With that being said, Ultracoin is only 4 months old and is about to make its way on to a payment processor. I think being on a payment processor will give a lot of legitimacy to the coin and raise its value. Ultimately, Ultracoin is currency, and without its usefulness as a currency, there will be no use for Ultracoin. Payment processors are key, if we can't buy things with crypto why would we be interested in crypto-currency in the first place?

 I believe that the drop in price is market panic selling, if the price drops, investors will bail. This coin cannot become a commodity, it has to have its own brand, 6 second transactions, that is what will separate Ultracoin from other currencies. But without practical application of that ability, it is next to useless. I believe in time Ultracoin will be utilized for what it is, an Ultrafast currency. When you buy with cash you are buying immediately in moments, when you pay with credit you wait seconds, Ultracoin will have to be as close to cash as possible to compete with real world currencies like the dollar, and it is! It has speeds as fast as debit processing, I believe this fact will enable Ultracoin to differentiate itself from the competition.

 Just look at Bitcoin, its not all that special, aside from that fast that it is the pioneer coin. If Bitcoin is the McDonalds of crypto, then Ultracoin is the Chick Fil A. Now that I'm hungry, I hope you all know that in the end we are dealing with currencies, and currencies are governed by the rules of the market.

 I think in the future, Ultracoin needs proprietary support and services. Ultracoin isn't just up to the Devs, but the COMMUNITY. I know its been said, but if you have skills out there and are willing to use them, there are many ideas in the crytpo world that haven't been thought up yet, this is the wild wild west of economics. Grassroots currencies are something that have never happened before in the history of mankind, at least not like this. Don't let Crypto be the next tulip, let crypto be the successor of the modern banking system. We have something very special, very unique, and very powerful, let's not let it go to waste.

Everyone relax.  We are at the turn around point for Ultracoin.  If the UTC Team is quiet right now it is because the focus is on the payment processor at the moment.  That is #1.  Priorities.

Once we win this damn vote process we can move forward.  There are so many ideas coming from the Board its like drinking from a firehose.  Have faith.  And please don't complain about ANYTHING if you have done NOTHING to visibly support the ultracoin efforts.  I can think of a few people that should be complaining but don't.  Imagine what it feels like to sink all your time and efforts into the coin while everyone sits on there couch eating popcorn and watching the charts and getting upset the price is dropping.  When you get mad the that volume is down, look at yourself in the mirror and think, what am I doing about it?  You want the price to stop dropping, go do some promoting on the exchanges.  I love you all but, its tough love right now.
