Hi,
Just wondering does anybody else have the following problems on Polo, or is it just me. (Experiencing the problem on at least 3 different systems - all running chrome)
1. When logging in - have to click Login twice before the page responds 2. When placing an order - The 'please wait' box doesn't confirm that an order has been placed and sits there unresponsive (when refreshing page the order has been placed) -
could be an issue with Async callbacks maybe the site is too busy - or maybe its something my end
Would be interesting to know if anybody else is noticing the same issue - and if they are using a different browser
Cheers
I got the second one as well once but at that time everyone was going crazy on ETC which might have caused that. btw I am using chrome as well. Glad I'm not the only person with this issue. If there is no response on here in a couple of days - I'll raise a support ticket.

polo staff even reading this thread anymore ?
It seems OP is still there, but his last post was more than a year ago. To contact polo staff, the best way is still by issuing support tickets.

Is anyone aware of whether Poloniex has said it will support Augur Rep trading when it is distributed, and early as mid-Sep? Wondering if they have said anything specific about t.

I don't know, but if they are I have some feature requests. Maybe I'll just make in trollbox, but seems like this would be a good place for this. I've enjoyed lending on Poloniex. • I would like it though if I could specify a minimum size for my loan. I sometimes give 1 satoshi loans which seems silly. • It would be nice to see somewhere what the total amount of each coin lent out is, e.g. 4000 btc, rather than just the amount remaining on offer. I think the volume of this market would be very helpful. • I wonder if you would consider a separate trollbox for the lending page? 99% of current chat is meaningless to lenders as it is all pump/dump. Thanks for a nice site!

Anyone else having issues when logging in? I often have to enter log in details twice, after first attempt page is just refreshing (no error messages etc) so have to do it twice.
Happens most of the time with IE 11

Had something similar happen just once, I think it was yesterday but logged in just over an hour ago no problem. Safari on both occasions.

I've been having the same issue for a couple of weeks - I filed a ticket buy didn't notice a response yet. Maybe more people should report it. Looks like some kind of session handling issue.

Has anybody else noticed a drop in Alt trading since the announcement that Polo are delisting a number of coins? None of the coins I trade in are being delisted but it seems to be that there has been a big decrease in volume, I'm concentrating on around 10 coins but trading seems to have reduced a lot. Do people generally change their trading strategy after these announcements?

I follow about a dozen coins on Polo, but only one (PIGGY) is being delisted. Unfortunately it is also the only one that is on Poloniex but not Bittrex. So I'm losing my only reason to be active on Poloniex. (I have other coins on Bittrex that are not on Polo, so for simplicity I will just move everything there, and PIGGY to CoinExchange which just added it.) I'm not a whale, but I expect to be pulling all my BTC and other funds from Polo in the next few days. I like Poloniex and have been there over 2 1/2 years, but it looks like it will join my list of former exchanges which is just too bad. I'm really disappointed in how Poloniex just suddenly lists coins it is dropping without any explanation as to why for each one. It raises conflict of interest issues since they can make a fortune playing around with in-house holdings of coins they are going to delist knowing it will have an impact on price. That could get them in legal hot water some day if they are not much more transparent. I'd strongly encourage them to have a published set of criteria/guidelines that would at least cover most situations, along with warning indicators if a coin is at risk of being delisted so it is not a sudden surprise. (Of course, things like the DAO collapse are understandable, but that's the exception not the rule for the coins they are delisting). Giving a heads up and a reason or reasons for delisting a coin would go over much better than just a terse statement and opaque comments on chat (when I asked).

Giving a heads up and a reason or reasons for delisting a coin would go over much better than just a terse statement and opaque comments on chat (when I asked). I'm sure that this kind of activity will have a negative impact on both Poloniex and smaller alt coins that are listed - as people will be wondering 'what if my/this coin is next?' I agree more transparency and rules will help people who are investing into their platform, as otherwise there is a risk that the investment is severely reduced by a delisting. I'm now worried that this activity could cause trading activity to reduce on some of the coins I'm trading in which in turn could cause them to be delisted.

I suspect that @busoni does insider trading. Can anyone with the US residence report to SEC about him and poloniex? So they could check him and the exchange.

I doubt if the SEC has jurisdiction. Crypto exchanges are kind of outside the law to some degree. But if I had 10X the holdings I had on Polo and watched half the value of it vanish overnight simply because of their action, I'll admit I'd be tempted to call a lawyer. Seems to me civil lawsuits could be brought to bear if nothing else. But I don't mean to sound overly harsh or presumptuous. Hopefully Polo is not engaged in insider trading. And there is some truth to "all the exchanges are doing it" with regards to opaque, non-transparent listings and delistings of coins. But that doesn't make it any less rotten, and it could all be done much better and more transparently. But the exchanges need to feel pressure to make these steps. That's why I pulled 90% of my funds from Polo today, and the remainder will follow shortly. (If Piggy comes back, I expect to follow, but without it I have no reason to stay on Polo.)

I'm pretty sure you don't have to be US citizen to file a complaint with SEC. You'd probably need some sort of evidence though, other than your suspicion.

Can you back up this claim with some examples?
