Poloniex might never give ignis for nxt holders. I think it's in their terms and conditions that they don't have to support snapshots like ignis.

You will have to keep your fingers crossed and hope they decide to distribute ignis eventually.

Poloniex announced it might not support Bitcoin Gold, and in the announcement advised users that for all balance-duplicating alts to withdraw their coins to their own wallets, Ignis is another balance-duplicating alt and poloniex's advice was to withdraw nxt to your own wallet to be certain of getting it.

usdt withdrawal fee at poloshit is 8 usdt and they send it with a fee of 0.001 BTC (18 usdt) 0.00347 BTC/kB they are actually sending it with 30% less fee than enough to get picked. i'm stuck for more than 20 hours with a transaction.

best part is that they lost 10usdt with my transaction... do your maths please...

Just holding usdt is not safe, never mind about the massive fee, never leave you cash in a non-backed token.

This is crypto, no token is backed by anything, except maybe USDT !

I saw a notice that all Legacy account must upgrade their account before certain date in Q1 2018
there will be no more Legacy account with $2000 limit allowed, am I right?
anyone think this would affect the number of active users? many probably stop using poloniex

Yes, everyone is required to do so now. Or else you account will be disable.
But then again their verification process on the website is so buggy and doesnt seems to work correctly and their support does not answer??

Yes me2, I have tried with different PC, Mac even bought a new phone. Still does not work, and I have to wait 3 days now.. I have removed all settings and the new system is so broken..

Dude you are insane you even bought and tried with new phone. Poloniex, really, if you want all of your user's account get verified, make sure your site is running smoothly.

I cant even access the verification no more. IT just says update your Chrome/Firefox and closes the page. Any1 having the same problem? Support is not answering the tickets and I there is no way to verify... This is really annoying???

try this way:
1.go to Support Center and make a ticket https://poloniex.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
  you will not get any response

2.mail to marketing@poloniex.com and ask for help
   tell them your problem and ticket number in step 1

3.repeat step 2 every day

4.clean catch and cookies in browser

5.try to  verification account again

I send mail twice, no reply, but I can verification account again

All of a sudden my Bitcoin withdraws have stopped and my withdraws are now reading "Awaiting Approval".

My account is fully verified and has 2fa... no clue why this has happened all of a sudden for a few $20 withdraws.

So if I send money to Poloniex I will not be able to take my money out unless I send them my ID and such? Why is that? Is it that they are being forced by law? Good thing I decided to check this, after finding out that I cannot withdraw my money from Bittrex unless I send them a scan of my ID.

At least it seems that Poloniex gave people a noticed.

Just read the notice on Poloniex. I must say it's much better than Bittrex, they won't even block users from withdrawing their funds, while Bittrex won't even update the fact that you're not allowed to withdraw, or even the reasons why you can't withdraw, and from what I've been reading and experiencing, they won't even email you back when you email them about not being able to withdraw (keep in mind that at first you have no idea what's going on). It sucks that I will have to send them my ID in order to get all my money out and use another exchange. And I rather not use Bittrex again simply because the way in which they are handling this just feels very, very shady, that it really does not make me trust what they would do with users information. Look at how Poloniex actually gives you a warning, versus complete secrecy by Bittrex.

Yes I agree that Poloniex is better than Bittrex to notify their customers before removing Legacy Accounts.
But then again if they tell us to verify their system must work without buggs. Been trying this more than a week now and starting to get really pissed. And the support does not answer...
I tried everything settings, cache removed, firewall, etc etc. IT DOES NOT WORK.
Several different computers, phones WTF.

I didn't realize they were having such issues. That is pretty bad. Bittrex more scummy, but yeah, that sounds really annoying.
