The ability to follow anything aside from instructions from his paymaster Risto is beyond this manchild.

Blockchain would be too technical for him.

Remember our friend here is part of the FUD campaign that is building up for next week.........they haven't even started the planned FUD yet.

I can tell you one thing, they have purchased a lot of DASH to dump at a coordinated time.
Ohhh.... that means cheap coins I can buy into! What are the details of this time? If it's credible, I could position a substantial amount of buying power. Hey, if they are planning to give it away, I'd be more than willing to take it off their hands at a discount.

Might be worth mentioning that this 456k tx is just speculation.  Craptsy has not confirmed how much Dash was stolen...

Makes me wonder if this is the correct tx...

Vern is offering 1000BTC reward for catching the guy, and if this is the tx, he leaves an EASY trail to follow... even sells most of it on Craptsy!  They should be able to follow the trail, check who owns the Dash wallet(s) and easily find the culprit... that's what I did, and it was easy...

So either Craptsy is completely incompetent (likely), or this might not be the stolen Dash tx...

So who is the culprit based on the blockchain trail? If these are really stolen coins in the first place.

Perhaps after Evolution, a decentralized exchange should be considered. With masternodes, we have more than enough infrastructure available to support such a thing.

So who is the culprit based on the blockchain trail? If these are really stolen coins in the first place.

My guess would be the Craptsy account which owns these Dash addresses:
Xqi7sWthYKFPCK3KHcKq8BqY9vMcWy4r3t
XbwDPCTNhtodqqmRCYEAT2YTadJkeydQa5
XwceLMAKYDUgimYzvBMywRHFFmcegU9WUd

However, I don't have access to their account info, so they would need to track down the owner (I have already sent them this info)

It does seem tantalizingly soon. Beta version next, according to their road map:

Alpha Version 0.3.2.2 (Released: December, 28th 2015)

    Bug fixes
    P2P network stability improvements

Beta Version 0.3.x (Planned stable release: early 2016)

    Bug fixes
    P2P network improvements
    UI/Usability improvements

I know, I know Smiley

You need to be very secure to release a software like this. And now the work is made by one dev only, I will see the dev tomorrow, will ask!

Correct.

Live testing will begin in 1-2 weeks with a small team only. Then the testing group will be bigger in due time.  You guys will be tier 2 - 3 testing if interested. I will be upgrading this information in Dashtalk when ready.

Has anyone looked into alerj78? That's the btc talk account used to post the virus on the forums... Maybe it's the same person who sent to cryptsy (most likely is).

I hate that asshat!

Also, I think I found the stolen LTC tx: (247,501 LTC)
http://explorer.litecoin.net/tx/61e61a63f35c951a16870df9e0a34df462ee473fde819d134da9485d2e7d8f44

Literally 3 minutes after the BTC tx Vern posted...

I still believe this to be Dash/DRK stolen 4 hours later: (456,501 Dash)
http://explorer.dash.org/tx/ba798890d98936115001f69333956b558a4856c162516cb3ab46a6455de7a1eb

Both addresses were storing coins in 10k, 25k, 50k units, and both were started with a single 1 unit coin:
2014-05-20 05:44:45   + 1.0 LTC

So who is the culprit based on the blockchain trail? If these are really stolen coins in the first place.

My guess would be the Craptsy account which owns these Dash addresses:
Xqi7sWthYKFPCK3KHcKq8BqY9vMcWy4r3t
XbwDPCTNhtodqqmRCYEAT2YTadJkeydQa5
XwceLMAKYDUgimYzvBMywRHFFmcegU9WUd

However, I don't have access to their account info, so they would need to track down the owner (I have already sent them this info)

Has anyone looked into alerj78? That's the btc talk account used to post the virus on the forums... Maybe it's the same person who sent to cryptsy (most likely is).

Mellech... Your name is too similar to mullick... Gives me a bad feeling lol.

I hate that asshat!

Also, I think I found the stolen LTC tx: (247,501 LTC)
http://explorer.litecoin.net/tx/61e61a63f35c951a16870df9e0a34df462ee473fde819d134da9485d2e7d8f44

Literally 3 minutes after the BTC tx Vern posted...

I still believe this to be Dash/DRK stolen 4 hours later: (456,501 Dash)
http://explorer.dash.org/tx/ba798890d98936115001f69333956b558a4856c162516cb3ab46a6455de7a1eb

Both addresses were storing coins in 10k, 25k, 50k units, and both were started with a single 1 unit coin:
2014-05-20 05:44:45   + 1.0 LTC
2014-05-25 20:55:13   + 1.0 DASH

If they were indeed running every coin's "cold" wallet on the same server, it is highly likely that all other coins got stolen as well (including DASH). Therefore, they might have been running a fractional exchange since their alleged "hack". I personally don't buy his story though.

I  agree. The bottom line is that if you've hacked in to cryptsy and can steal that quantity of LTC and BTC then it's completely illogical for the attacker to NOT clean out the whole lot, including all other crypto cold wallets. It's the old Californian saying 'go big or go home'! You steal as much as you possibly can. simple as that!

Yeah it just doesn't add up. You can't convince me they were running BTC, LTC and luckycoin (or whatever it was called) on the same server/instance, and all other alts on another server/instance. Only running BTC and LTC on the same server seems plausible, but then the luckycoin backdoor shouldn't have affected those wallets.

DASH Powered Soda Machine to Debut at Miami Bitcoin Conference
Supporters of DASH, the privacy-centric cryptocurrency, hope to highlight what they believe are its strengths at the upcoming North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami. They are doing so in an intriguing way: by setting up a soda vending machine that accepts DASH for payment…

If you want to know which coins were stolen and how much, check the blockchain(s) on July 29, 2014 @13:00-20:00 UTC for any large movements... looks like it all happened within 4-5 hours to me

This could explain the extreme downwards pressure every time, it looks like they are moved around 100 times i couldn't see of they're all sold.
