A friend who I manage a handful of MN for pointed out to me that on dash.org resources list there doesn't seem to be any links to charting sites like,

https://dc-charts.com/chart_dash.php?ex=16&cu=0 &
https://dc-charts.com/depth_dash.php?ex=16&cu=0&tz=5&ar=1 or just
https://dc-charts.com &
http://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/dash also
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dash

- perhaps these and any others could be added to the home page.

Thanks for the links! We had more links to charts in the past, but sites kept changing and we went for the basics (dashninja and a difficulty + hashrate). However, you are right, we should have some market data. Let me think about how to do it, but I think a new 'Markets' (or something like that) item in the Resources menu, with a submenu to the different charts/sites, could be a good solution?

Any other link the traders here would consider useful?

Tante, thanks for pinging Smiley

The addition of the - the pre-compiled version of DASH for the Raspberry Pi - would be a nice addition to the dash.org/downloads page...
I think it's the only version of DASH that is not currently listed for "mass usage"...

A book is planned to be released this year based on Dash (first year history).  As of today, four equivalent books have been written about Dogecoin, DigiByte, Reddcoin and Peercoin.  Private message me if you have further questions.

That word "claiming".

The DASH system of governance looks promising put it has hardly proved itself to have "figured out governance". Only time will tell and I'm sure some changes will still need to be made before we have it all ironed out. Currently it is by far the best system of governance in cryptoland.

So I just bepopped over to "bravetheworld" to check that comment and saw an episode of The Daily Decrypt.  I dunno spatula, governance is what paid for that DDecrypt episode, seemed to work fine.   I believe the changes you are speaking of are minor adjustments.  Overall it IS figured out IMHO.

Yeah, I was wondering when that was going to happen. The more that occurs during equity implosions the more crypto is going to get a name for itself as a 'safe haven', helped these days in no small measure by Zerohedge relaying that message to the PM fraternity.

Check the Euro stocks - utter carnage. Heading for the -4% range into the close.

Only yesterday they were talking about 'recovery' and optimism and now the UK index is back to 2012/13. Took 3 years and lots of QE to get there and about 72 hours to slide all the way back down the hill. What will they do now ? Abenomics not worked. Equity market caput. Growth caput. Japanese government spends as much on servicing debt as it does emptying bins and building roads.

The Italian market has been dropping 3-4% per day, even when the others were rallying.

Where will this lead ?

Maybe this has all been planned to co-incide with the economic forum at Davos. Maybe someone wants something and is putting a gun to someone else's head. Maybe the Davos delegates are about to roll something out for "the people" and are invoking a bit of turmoil to help "the medicine" go down  Wink

UPDATE: Oil into the $26 range and Italy now chasing -5%. (I wonder if that's bank stocks again). This is starting to remind me of watching the 2007 crash.

I anticipate over the next five years, we’ll see the impact of five trends that will further re-order the commerce landscape. These trends are: the age of everywhere, truly global trade, virtual reality as a retail tool, on-demand inventory and supply, and sustainable shopping.

i anticipate a 6th trend over the next five years : intensified decentralised cryptocurrency usage

interesting that both FIAT (20-23 january) and Cryptocurrency (21-22 january) are having seperate meetings at almost the same date(s)

Hey everybody, I created a new proposal to open discussion on creating a new PR video for the community. Ive seen some great infographics created by community members and I think a video would further compliment everything nicely. Via dashwhale:

Dash now has technology superior to bitcoin. People need to realize this. The only thing inferior about the network at this point is its total node count, which actually is almost as robust as bitcoin's with having only a fraction of its market capital -and unlike bitcoin, the count is growing.

And while I like the 'What is Dash' video, I believe we can benefit from a video with a more focused message. The 'What is Dash?' video boasts dash's features broadly, as a mix of being better than bitcoin and better than fiat. Thus its a video I feel is actually targeting those too far away from where we are in the adoption curve currently. We need to target the 'better than bitcoin' half of the equation and get the message out there to those who understand cryptocurrency: We have a more perfect protocol. We have a better incentive model. And as such we're able to have privacy, instant transactions, decentralized governance, and are completely self funded. Single tier networks are boat sails. A two tiered network is a steam engine. We've evolved. And this is all without even getting into dash evolution..

So I propose we open up discussion on allocating a portion of the budget one month in a new proposal for the creation of a new video: Dash vs Bitcoin (dubbed/captioned in multiple languages if possible)
