good for you and your wife...but I'm not so sure about being a romantic for a crypto currency that is instamined-snake oil etc etc.

I really like the marketing efforts of DASH both at conferences and on social media. Translations also have been very helpful in reaching new markets.

Is there some way that more funds can be directed to development this year (in addition to not instead of marketing). DASH is doing great on the marketing from but seems to be falling further and further behind in terms of privacy tech. Darksend cannot be compared (from a privacy standpoint) to CrytoNote/Confidential Transactions much less Zerocash which is now in alpha. Is there any chance DASH could try to implement one of these more privacy focused technologies?

With better tech in ADDITION to the nice DASH GUI, large community and marketing materials DASH would have a very bright future.

Evolution is going to have a new privacy/fungibility model. It has not yet been announced but it seems rather unlikely that it will be worse than darksend.

InstantX works in the Android app for sending IX transactions only.  While the app can receive IX transactions, it doesn't treat them any differently than regular transactions at the moment. 

Based on other feedback and testing, the Android app was updated today to include some fixes.  The exchange was changed from Cryptsy to Poloniex to report accurate values in local curriences.

"Completion" doesn't mean there will be zero updates in the meantime. The huge amount of new features can only be released bit by bit. The prototype for example shown in the demo was working today, not in 1 year.

Plus DASH is a massive improvement over most cryptocurrencies in it's current state already. Trolls actually admitted they love and envy the technology so much they wanna steal it and start "DASH Classic" LOL. Good luck, losers

I don't think Evan wants to change Dash in any of those ways.  We like that you can clearly audit the blockchain, but with mixing, you can't follow where the coins came from.

What will happen is coins will go through mixing in the 3rd tier network, the Evolution version, and instantly be mixed through a quorum.  I believe it'll be equal to 10 rounds, and the ip address of the user will not be distinguishable to the first MN in the quorum, because the user is sent to the quorum from an entry point, which obfuscates that information.  And that entry point has no way of knowing what is being sent back to whom.

So in the end, mixing will simply be instant, and better than ever, but look exactly the same as it does now.

Dash now has technology superior to bitcoin. People need to be educated to realize this. The only thing inferior about the network at this point is its total node count, which actually is almost as
robust as bitcoin's with having only a fraction of its market capital -and unlike bitcoin, the count is growing.

And while I like the 'What is Dash' video, I believe we can benefit from a video with a more focused message. The 'What is Dash?' video boasts dash's features broadly, as a mix of being better
than bitcoin and better than fiat. Thus its a video I feel is actually targeting those too far away from where we are in the adoption curve currently. We need to target the 'better than bitcoin' half
of the equation and get the message out there to those who understand cryptocurrency: We have a more perfect protocol. We have a better incentive model. And as such we're able to have privacy,
instant transactions, decentralized governance, and are completely self funded. Single tier networks are boat sails. A two tiered network is a steam engine. We've evolved. And this is all without even
getting into dash evolution..

So I propose we open up discussion and poll on allocating a portion of the budget in a future proposal for the creation of a new video: Dash vs Bitcoin (dubbed/captioned in multiple languages if possible)

It's not from a known hacked address, or a spoofed email. As for signed => he never signed anything.
