your images are HUGE!  You might want to make them a bit smaller for ease of use???
Yeah, I just saw that. Anybody have any ideas on how to do that?

Fixed. Thanks for the RTs, bro, great comments on the video so far...

Yah, It would be nice if we could just do [img=50%] or some such, eh?

I am no more up to date.

Can someone tell me is it possible to host multiple masternodes behind one static IP only or is it possible to run 1 masternode with a weight of multiple master nodes or do you still need 1 static IP for each masternode?

1 IP for each, some have run multiple from a single IP in the past but it's not at all simple and I'm not even sure it's possible anymore. Hardware requirements are due to start ramping up soon too, for now a bottom end VPS available for less than a Dash a month has more than enough power but by the time Evolution starts rolling out the masternodes will have to work much harder and so hardware requirements will also rise.

It's not. Someone PM'd me.
I have very powerful hardware at hand. But it's all behind one and the same static IP. That's what bites me. I have everything I need to run multiple MNs myself except it's not possible because of the one static IP per MN limitation.
But I guess that is designed intentional that way.

Anyway thank you for the answer.

I will check what's best to do (mn services, vps) but I put this on my ToDo-List for later.

( Dash price still has to rise a tiny bit more to lift my motivation over my laziness-barrier and do that task )

ixSlot.com - every second wins!
The First Instant & Private online luck game Smiley

We are proudly presenting www.ixslot.com beta release, the first of many future games which are going to be developed exclusively for DASH !

No need for making any account on ixSlot, just please take some(instant) time and try your luck in 100% fair luck game.

How to play?

ixSlot is very easy to play. One Slot game contains only two steps:

  • Enter your payout address - the address that will be used to send you the winnings
  • Send DASH via InstantX to your dedicated unique deposit address using your Dash Wallet - amount of dash you have to send is 0.1 at the moment, but we plan on offering more options later.

NOTE: We accept normal transactions as well, but you would have to wait until it is confirmed.
You will be automatically added to the last non-finished Slot, or if all Slots are finished, new one will be created.

NOTE: If you deposit more money than required before your first Slot has finished, new one will be created and you will be added there. You can’t be in the same Slot with the same payout address, since this would lower your chances for earning money and we still want to let you play more Slots at the same time.
Once the Slot has finished you will be sent winnings. The Slot view will be updated with the amount of money each player won.

How much do I win?

At the moment only one Slot type exists, that is:
  • Slot needs 10 players to start
  • It costs 0.1 DASH to enter the Slot
  • Total DASH in play is 0.1 X 10 players = 1.00 DASH
  • 1% goes to Weekly Jackpot
  • 5% goes to house
  • 94% is distributed to players
  • Winning percentages 94% of total DASH in play for players are distributed:
    [30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0];

    In other words if you play with 0.1 DASH:
    1st place wins 0.3 DASH;
    2nd wins 0.2 DASH;
    3rd wins 0.17 DASH;
    4th wins 0.15 DASH;
    5th wins 0.12 DASH;
    6th - 10th wins nothing.

Is it fair?

We are using random.org to generate winning permutations. Random.org seed is created in a following way:
  • Take the first two letters of the slot id
  • Take the first two letters of each payout address in the game and append them in order they have joined the game
  • Append 0
When the last player joins, append the transaction id of the payment - this ensures that winning permutation can’t be predicted before the last payment has been processed. Therefore players can check if the transaction id was in the next block and also go to Random.org link that is provided in the Slot view and check if the permutation is correct

Should you have any suggestions, feel free to drop us your thoughts by replying to this thread or sending us an email at ixslot@gmail.com.

Our goal is to promote DASH’s power of privaTX & InstanTX, and we hope that we can do it through the lottery games.

Kind regards,

But... Dash InstantX transaction fee is 0.01 DASH for each transaction ... So to pay out for 5 winners you need to spend 5*0.01= 0.05 DASH for InstantX...
I don't see this sum in your business model...

OK, but if they declared their goal is to promote InstanTX technology... they have at least work in InstanTX mode... Correct?  Grin

Also, "Instant & Private Gaming Dev Team" - please add option to deposit DASH with mobile wallets (by QR-code address)... It will make your service several times more popular...

Thank you for your answers.

This is BETA version - we should definitely put that on the website.

At the moment we have one and only slot type and it costs 0.1 DASH. Having that in mind it would be too expensive to send back single instantX to each player at the current rate. We have talked about the sendtomanyix command here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg13712922#msg13712922

We hope that it will be implemented at some point.

If we had slots that cost more, then it would make more sense to send InstantX transactions to all players. We are definitely going to add that in the near future, but as I said before, since it is BETA we would have to keep it this way for now.

One more issue is that we are not able to mix coins using dashd, so we can't send a lot of instantX transactions back to the users. Maybe that option exists but I am not aware of it?

InstantX provides nice liquidity for the games when players play - I agree, it is one way, but hopefully that will be improved in the future.

I definitely agree that we should add the option to deposit DASH via mobile wallets using QR Code. I like that idea a lot. We have discussed that already and I believe we will add it in the next version.

The line of text under the jackpot box says " You have a 0 % chance to win!". I'm not sure exactly what is meant by that, but it doesn't exactly fill me with confidence about my chances of winning. Does it just refer to the jackpot? How do I increase my chances from 0%?
