Dash was added to trading platforms Whaleclub and Coincheck this week.

Whaleclub is a trading platform that allows users to trade cryptocurrency against more traditional investments, such as oil, gold, stocks, etc. Daniel Diaz, Dash’s Vice President of Business Development, sees this integration as opening new doors for Dash:

Also, I noticed that we have ~180 MNs in NEW_START_REQUIRED state which means they are not paid. Not sure why they were not (re)started...
Pls check your MNs and if you notice that it went down for no reason or you have troubles starting your MN - pls report.

79% of MNs are on 0.12.1.5 and network runs much smoother now,
at least we haven't noticed any huge wd_expired spikes or any other issues in few recent days.

so I guess previous notification was helpful and it probably worth bumping it once again.

I don't see daily tx volume as being that relevant right now personally. If somebody had built the entire Visanet infrastructure back in the 1980s but it had low tx volume, would that have precluded the network from having a fairly good valuation? Not in my opinion. Tx's will come in time.

One could ask the same question of Bitcoin: daily tx volume is the tiniest drop in the bucket compared to the number of tx's processed by credit cards, the SWIFT network, and so forth. Is Bitcoin's marketcap fair?

Do you mean you don't know what the features will be?  Or that you can't see them yet on the network?  Yes, real evolution features are not live yet, however the entire Dash code was recently upgraded with the core foundation that will be required to build Evolution on top.  What will Evolution do? 

Basically, Evolution will make using Dash as easy as using Paypal, or your bank.  You log in with a user name and password, and can manage your money, send funds, transfer between accounts, etc... only underneath the familiar surface, all of the same crypto currency structure is still there.  You'll never have to deal with a cryptographic account number again, you'll pay people by their user name or email address.

Even better, with Evolution, when you log into your account on your desktop, you will see the same information as you see when you log into your laptop or your phone.  Your account information doesn't reside on a device, it resides in the Dash Drive.  An encrypted distributed, duplicated many times against loss, storage space held on the Masternode Network.

Thus, you get the easy to manage and use experience of a centralized service (banking) with a full cryptographic currency which is completely decentralized.

Will DASH go under $50 I thought I could never go down this low that I thought of buying when I saw the price dip to 80$.  I'm not familiar with what happened lately that causes this fall but will it go up to a hundred a gain? because I'm going to ride along this time.

I would say .075 - .08 is probable, but I wouldn't even begin to venture on a time frame just now. A retest of the lows is more likely first.

@Miiike - With BTC outperforming on a relative basis, I would "convert" those target figures I mentioned on the 3rd into their equivalent USD numbers from the time, i.e., 75-80 USD, and start looking at the cash chart for an exit (which, in all likelihood, has already seen its high within the range).

Quite a lot of times actually.

Notwithstanding the current "anti-bankster" fever, we can't ignore the fact that the original reason people used banks was for 'safekeeping' which to a large extent was insured.

Useability and all that stuff is nice while everything works. But as soon as it doesn't you're screwed. There is no recourse to any party to replace funds or otherwise make good on losses.

At least I will not be surprised at all seeing Dash taking another uptrend soon because of sitting on the current floor for long time. It should be preparing for another rally to show us 2x-3x. This spike will take place suddenly and many people again will remain behind like it did when many left at 0.04 and then came back. Keep your eyes on this gem to not miss anything.

Activist organization the Rights Brigade has switched from Bitcoin to Dash for operational costs.

The New Hampshire-based organization, which focuses on activism that promotes freedom in all areas of life, uses cryptocurrency donations to tip activists in order to incentivize them and thank them for their work. In the past, the organization ran entirely off of Bitcoin. However, while Bitcoin donations are still accepted, the Rights Brigade also accepts Dash, and will be exclusively using Dash to tip activists.
