LEDGER NANO S REVIEW

Dash users seeking to ensure that their funds are absolutely protected will look to cold storage options, and hardware wallets are the perfect ironclad storage method paired with maximum usability. The Ledger Nano S is one of the prominent hardware wallets that features Dash support. With its small design resembling a USB stick, the Nano S is nonetheless quite useful and powerful as a storage tool...

Morning, MasterMined.

One: my outfit, IndiaMikeZulu, is becoming Ledger-centric. We helped some folk get Bitcoin years ago, and now we're setting them up with Ledgers, and advising them on a portfolio. My DASH are on a Ledger.

Two: it's becoming clear that many many adopters will henceforth be 'Type L' -- they may never download and synch a wallet, or have to check to see if their running the latest version of a wallet, because they'll send their newly-acquired cryptos straight to a Ledger (or the like). So we should focus on assisting them to do just that. Heck, our next purchase will be of a half a dozen Ledgers, so we'll have a few ready for newcomers.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Yeah, you totally got the point. BTW, thanks God XMR is so decentralized that no single leader can fuck things up. Oh wait...
Oh wait, you didn't get the joke? https://mea.business/

Oh, it was a joke? So he and his friends like whalepanda and icebreaker bought a shitload of xmr just before the announcement, sold it all at nearly ATH just before he announced again that it was a joke. Oh, ok I get it now. He probably shorted it as well. What an inside traders joke.
And This Retardo Spaghetti (Ricardo Spaghni  Wink) say that he didn't have any orders  Cheesy. Ok I trust him on that  Cheesy. He calls so many people scammers that he became one  Cheesy
Now go and join his wife at twitter and defend this scammer and fraud if you want.

I don't really understand all this fighting yet, maybe one day I will have an insight... Every crypto project has got enough flaws, I think the most important thing is development and progress and it will set the price and prove who's better... Why waste a time to spread FUD and fight each other?

And you direct this message to...me? You should read up some history of monero piggybacking, FUD and lies towards Dash for more than three years to understand the issue. And my post wasn't fud. It is a fact that there are obvious scammers and cultish monero people defending them.

No, I mostly agree with you. I see no reason to for Icebreaker to come here and call Dash a scam, this definitely doesn't add monero any value...

Dash Is Stable, Not "Sexy" to Traders - Dash Force News

A few weeks back I was on an episode of NeoCash Radio, discussing the latest cryptocurrency trends, when a co-host mentioned that Dash isn’t “sexy.” The co-hosts of the show are big fans of Dash, but noted the lack of hype surrounding it in the crypto trader world. I tend to agree.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m very excited about Dash, moreso than about any other cryptocurrency, because I have reason to believe it will truly revolutionize and upset the financial system as we know it today, freeing the world economy as never seen before, particularly for the unbanked. That’s not what this is about. This is about the speculative traders who buy and sell tokens all day long turning a cold shoulder to Dash. It’s true, but it’s not a problem, and perfectly to be expected.

DASH is holding up extremely well and given the amount of other coins that have pumped then this legitimizes DASH's current, I think undervalued, price right now.

I see comments about DASH being expensive at $117 at the time of this post, but people just don't comprehend the total amount of coins in circulation.

ETH - 92 million
XRP - 38 BILLION
LTC - 51 million
NEM - 9 BILLION
DASH - 7.3 million

Yep, and 4,4 million Dash of that 7.3 million Dash is used as collateral for masternodes. Leaving only 2.9 million Dash on the market for speculation / trade.

In perspective I think that the current prices are a bit on the low end. However, looking what awaits Dash down the road I'd wager that the current price levels are instead very low. If someone considers the current ~$120 prices to be high, well what if the prices is 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x in a year's time?  Wink

DASH looks very cool, I can't believe I have had to rely on Bitcoin with huge TX fees. DASH is very cheap and much much better organized than shitty BTC.

I like the voting system, the low fees, and the privacy features. I think I'm going to use DASH from now on.  Cool

The latest is that Fluffypony pre-announced a "big announcement" to pump the price, then a few days later said it was a joke, there was no announcement, it was to teach investors a lesson,... the price plummeted.  Anybody who bought into the FOMO could have been affected.

BitCart Review - Dash Force News

BitCart is a cryptocurrency startup competitor to the industry heavyweight Purse.io for allowing users to pay with crypto for anything off of Amazon.com. Unlike Purse, which acts as escrow while other users buy your products for you, BitCart just straight up gives you the gift codes to buy the products yourself. Also unlike Purse, BitCart allows you to buy directly with Dash, instead of having to go through ShapeShift and the painful experience of using a Bitcoin transaction.

I see, I never liked Monero in the first place, but I have seen many shills in other places in this forum.

DASH is the real deal. Decentralized. Free to join. Cheap. The best coin in the world right now!

This is a very outdated data which is off - it's from pre-ASIC days where block reward sometimes exceeded the minimum. Diff skyrocketed since then, so block reward is always minimal and expected number of coins is closer to 19 mil - https://dashpay.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DOC/Specifications

PS. pls ping the site owner you grabbed this info from to update the spec. Thanks!

HOW ARE CRYPTOCURRENCY DEVELOPMENT TEAMS FUNDED?

Digital currencies and blockchain technologies represent countless hours of hard work in visualizing, coding, testing, and so forth. Because of the required talent and effort in order to make a cryptocurrency successful, one of the first questions asked when starting a new project should be: “How are we going to pay for all this?” Here are some of the more common forms of funding development teams...
