Evan Duffield Releases Master Dash Plan, Including Mass Market-Level Scaling - Dash Force News

Dash founder Evan Duffield has released the Core team’s long-term vision for Dash, including scaling to mass market levels with ease.

Dash has released a path forward for Dash, developed over the past year with the assistance of Dash Core CTO Andy Freer. A key feature of this roadmap is scaling, which includes future growth of up to a 400mb block size. According to Duffield, Dash’s goal is to provide a real “be your own bank” product for the masses:

“We are building a world-wide financial network capable of putting every individual’s money under his/her direct control without intermediaries. We are building Dash Evolution because we believe it’s needed and offers value to society.”

TenX Dash Debit Card – Slipping Dates Proposal Update - Dash Force News

Dash Debit Card ready by Mid-April  Owner: julianhosp (added on 2017-03-29) 305 DASH ($84.26/D) approximately $25,700 at date added. Votes: 773 Yes / 118 No / 40 Abstain.  The pre-proposal thread is 10 pages long at the time of writing.  Dr. Julian Hosp (julianhosp) has been very active responding to just about every question.

During this same timeframe TenX where Julian is a co-founder had also been in the process of doing an ICO which just successfully completed on June 24.  They raised 200,000 ETH. The details are not yet published but that seems to be worth near $60,000,000 (@$300/ETH).  This was raised to work on their debit cards and their new Cryptographically-secure Off-chain Multi-asset Instant Transaction network (COMIT).

While it sounds all really good and DASH follows a correct  Path to become the digital world currency the dedicated hardware part worries me. I might missunderstand this but for security and cartell reasons it is no good idea when the Hardware for the Network comes from DASH itself.
If it comes to that you need this specific Hardware in order to run a masternode then how can this network stay trustless?

While it sounds all really good and DASH follows a correct  Path to become the digital world currency the dedicated hardware part worries me. I might missunderstand this but for security and cartell reasons it is no good idea when the Hardware for the Network comes from DASH itself.
If it comes to that you need this specific Hardware in order to run a masternode then how can this network stay trustless?

I see it like how ASIC's evolved from GPU's with regards to mining. This specific piece of hardware will support masternodes, with increased efficiency, increased security against DDOS and will comply and most likely exceed the hardware requirements (RAM, CPU) but I suspect it is an optional choice.

 I suspect Masternode owners can still choose to upgrade their rented servers every so often and secure it themself instead of taking the dedicated hardware route.

People will soon looking for safe markets to put their money in and Dash will provide them the place to recover their losses. I am happy my holdings will reward my patience over the next few days. From what i understand anyone will be able to make their own machines if they want to..

Yes ,it time to dash now to go up to the moon. Market is focusing in the btc and other coins now while others are not aware what dash accomplishments now. Well in it is advanatge for the early ones who knows it.  Im also holding some big amount of it.
