can someone please tell me if there is a darkcoin sistercoin which does not use the darksend feature? i happen to think that an anonymizing feature like this is actually not a selling point, and infact a point of contention for future adoption. bitcoin and litecoin have openly rejected any ideas to implement such a feature.
i really like the x11 algorithm, but i want to just use it on a normal coin, is there a list of available x11 coins out there? or a consensus on what the #2 x11 coin is? ie. one that's already on real exchanges etc?
anyone?> Darkcoin, with the darksend box unticked

And confirmation of what? Events you can already see have happened? Wow, that's useful! Confirmation of which direction the price is going in. Although it may seem strange, you can't tell that from looking at the price because it moves in waves and a down wave may be just a small ripple on a more substantial upwave which is actually the "real" trend. The indicators tell you which it is. Think of a bicycle pedal. You're going up a steep hill. To an ant on your shoe, every half cycle it looks like you're going down. But zoom out and you can see that your actually going up long term. Without the indicators you are the ant. With the indicators you can see the whole bike and know which direction its nose is pointed. So it's not bullshit. It's eyes. The fundamental laws of physics disagree with you, but good luck!

Side note. I have a mess load of masternodes to setup. Wondering what others here are doing. How is the price with AWS? Or digitalOcean? Anyone getting billed extra for data or other things? Basically wondering what's best experience so far. I think tantestefana locked down an aws?

Wouldn't an article that mentions Darkcoin be more appropriate to this thread?

The fundamental laws of physics disagree with you, but good luck! You must've gone to a different school from me then because it's not physics, it's geometry

I think these articles unintentionally (?) show DarkWallet like it's worse than it actually is. I do not want to underestimate them and I think it's a viable concept. But reading these makes me feel like it's only a childish joke from emotionally wrecked teenagers through clueless journalists. But even if it would be advertised correctly, it's still not as thorough as DarkSend and it is in an earlier development stage, far from ready for real world usage.

anyone?> Darkcoin, with the darksend box unticked Dammit I was going to post this but got tied up in a silly argument with some local witchcraft practitioners. oh really? What type of magick were they practising? Economics. The clarify some things and leave you guys off on the same page. you can't tell any direction from current price since it is in a static form. you need a reference point. as with anything you cannot tell for sure which has been admitted. But you can predict. But the prediction might just be totally off anyways. Zooming out and going to trends. Sure you can predict the price in that sense aswell but the trend just might go the otherway the second before you click the buy or sell button. Analysis off paterns is a pretty solid method in crypto cause that's as far as an average person would go in his analysis. As many points out there's no end to stupidity and the majority just abides to the patterns. Even if you are smart you still have to go towards the majority which has in total more cash to influence the price than you do anyways so that would make you dumb. Using patterns and buy support works well but as said nothing is 100% ever. Except me getting laid tonight

I was billed on AWS for excess data outbound (> 15GB) and so I moved to DigitalOcean. I think that for now the 1TB traffic included is enough This excess traffic was with older versions of the daemon and Evan said there were some reductions in bandwidth so.... well that's my 0.02 DRK

Cloning DarkCoin without it's best features won't yield another DarkCoin but a generic shitcoin like all the rest in the clone pack (with the exception of a very very few which seem to be successful, for now).
