Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Does anyone know why there's such a huge difference in price on craptsy and mintpal? (C=0.026) (M=0.022)
And is someone currently taking advantage of it doing some arbitrage?  I'm certainly thinking of it if it continues Cheesy

I don't know but I'm buying like mad.
Evidently bot is on the downcycle to accumulate, I'm following.

hashrate went from 100 to aprox 67 GH/s, and this diff is not pain in ass like 5000 Smiley

this mean that plenty of miners stoped mining, they thought they will profit if they mine 15 days

sorry guys, you should mine earlier
many pool are on the wrong fork. Miners aren't left, that just don't know what is happening. Maybe this was intentional by pool operators, so the price goes down.

Hi,
I'm trying to start mining but I get "stratum authentication failed" all the time
I use this command         minerd -a X11 -o stratum+tcp://drkpool.com:3333 -u workerusername -p password
workerusername  and password are the ones I create at the pool .
Do I have to use a wallet to do that ? Can I download it later ?
Am I missing something ?

Thanks in advance,

is there a problem with p2p pools as none seem to be working?

They are/were fixing p2pools to support the new version, regular pools work normally though.

Thanks illodin, time to clean the gpu`s

Good idea. But how would you exectly take advantage of the price difference? I just woke up, can't wrap my head around anything with numbers before my third cup of coffee!

Hard fork to start paying masternodes. It went quite well but smaller problems to be solved yet. Some people are getting nervous because devs sleep for a few hours every other day.

It is on the wrong chain, and many other pools, like cpu-pool, this hard fork  could have serious consequences. Coinmine, suchpool , drkpool are on the correct chain, please mine there.

Yes, and some people and pools forgot to update to the latest version even though it was announced in BBC radio!
