Darkcoin the first anonymus coin?

No way.. That is Anoncoin.

Except that they have absolutely nothing right now with a bunch of promises they were unable to keep.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

Can you already come up with a working Mac wallet?
What is so hard about applying the trivial changes and compile it, takes less than 5 minutes.

Or put a qt project file out on git which compiles out of the hat?

PM instacash
Im sure he'll be around soon

Yeah thanks, but do you think this is the right workflow?
You're pissing off of a lot of people here, I' sure I'm not the only one.
As much as I'm a DRK fanboy, this fork was quite a fuckup.

About time to introduce some notification method which could even prevent a wallet from launching.

Yeah I agree it needs an update notification and would be great if the mac wallet could be updated faster. However I understand this will probably be sorted out down the line.

Hi,
I'm trying to start mining but I get "stratum authentication failed" all the time
I use this command         minerd -a X11 -o stratum+tcp://drkpool.com:3333 -u workerusername -p password
workerusername  and password are the ones I create at the pool .
Do I have to use a wallet to do that ? Can I download it later ?
Am I missing something ?

Thanks in advance,

I also have this doubt. Must use a wallet?
Hope someone can help us
Wish us luck

Why don't you put a proper fork on git for the Mac project, so people could build it on their own?

Hey, im new to DRK.
I am still messing with config on 2x hd 6870. What i get is 2,2 Mh/s average (no rejects and hws so far). Is it a good amount on such hardware? Could i possibly get more out of those gpus?

p2pool node scanner http://drk.poolhash.org/ reopend.

p2pool back to ~ 2 GH/s, should build up more as it progresses.

For p2pool ops,

1) git clone https://bitbucket.org/dstorm/p2pool-drk

2) sudo iptables -t nat -D PREROUTING -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 7903 -j REDIRECT --to-port 8998     ## Delete browser port redirect rule if you had it before

3) sudo iptables -A INPUT -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 8999 -j ACCEPT      ## Open port 8999 for Incoming peers

4) remove data directory

5) Start p2pool

Much much hate around. I can understand a bit  how they feel if a new coin with more innovation within a few weeks than LTC within 3 years hammerd their head and the don't have seen that comming.

Newcommers to drk, dont let you scare from these people. Make your own research and read the pages 500..1000 and you see why drk has and will succeed and overcome ltc. Pages 1000+ Is nearly only bullshit and fud frim people never seen before on pages 0-1000

Dont get me wrong i also own Ltc that i bought and beeing in a big big loss with them.
DRK will show the future way of crypto.

People seriously, the same dev that already delivered x11, DGW3, Darksend rc2, Masternode Proof of Service, is letting you know ahead of time that there will be a huge anon upgrade for RC3 coming in a couple of weeks! That is your cue! You buy now! Not after it is released. Seriously where are your balls? You need to invest before major events not after. This is like investing in Pfizer before Viagra came out. You have insider information, act on it.

Also the btc-e trollbox is full of hate against drk. At some point they can't ignore drk longer and will list it because they lose a lot of volume to other exchanges.

Drk will change cryptoworld and this is why there is so much hate against it.
All these people know it already but dont want to belive it.

Hey there Darkcoin miners,

I started mining darkcoin a few days ago (total n00b, first crypto coin) on the cpu-pool.net/drk pool. Today (26 May, 2014) I noticed that all confirmed and unconfirmed transactions are gone without any notice! Anyone have any clue what the heck has happened to the processed transactions on that pool? Should I consider them lost?

Which pool would you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

I also want to know how to mine?
