my wallet wont synch again, I downloaded latest version, anyone can help? PM Me I can donate if you help

Start the wallet and wait 10 minutes.

Are you at work or at some public Internet? Are you at home?   A firewall can block port 9999. Check the outbound port of 9999 in your firewall and if it is blocked.

An easy way to test it is by trying the following address: http://portquiz.net:9999/

If you get a result like: "You have reached this page on port 9999. Your network allows you to use this port."

...you should be O.K, otherwise you need to fix your port 9999.

So I just read:

Quote
A little bird told me that there is a rival coin setting up a fake masternode not updated on purpose so it keeps creating problems in the blockchain in order to drive the price down. Invest in Dark and don't let detractors stop you!

This is a whole new level of commitment (if true), we must we doing really well :-)

It's only natural that others will try to hack / ddos / sabotage the system because they want it to fail. This is to be expected. They are paying shills and trolls, lol.

This is good actually. It's free security hardening because the code then evolves to deal with the attack vectors. Bring'em on.

Generation: 500 + 0.058 total fees
What is that retard talking about?
http://explorer.darkcoin.io/block/0000000016453fe74ae233a9df82913912f2a28ed6c8e45e6737daf7af9ec048
The darkcoin.io explorer addresses are invalid however.

As for the transaction, it looks like a consolidation of this address:

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/address.dws?XnFYAdnaYsY9rAJqsnoQcyiVPtyB3PUvn5.htm

which received a lot of mined blocks indirectly (most of the mining went to unique addresses, which were then consolidated to the previous address), there are also many are "normal" mined blocks, that were split into smaller denominations, then regrouped (not sure why).
Then everything was moved away there

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/address.dws?XaptQ7jAapYtFeotgWixGzgLrk2rzEyRx2.htm

to be split in smaller denominations again. Could have been a mining pool having issues and moving/changing wallet.

People seriously, the same dev that already delivered x11, DGW3, Darksend rc2, Masternode Proof of Service, is letting you know ahead of time that there will be a huge anon upgrade for RC3 coming in a couple of weeks! That is your cue! You buy now! Not after it is released. Seriously where are your balls? You need to invest before major events not after. This is like investing in Pfizer before Viagra came out. You have insider information, act on it.

Problem is, these people think $15 is high because they know nothing about DRK.
The DRK community knows $15 is low.
I remember that, got in late tho, but still made a decent amount of money on those lovely blue pills +15$ per share if I remember correctly, had a permanent hardon for 6 months holding those  Grin

Last night on irc:

[04:49] <evan82> aaxx1503, masternodes w/ multiple ticket entries Cheesy
...
[04:50] <evan82> aaxx1503, send 3k drk to a masternode and it'll get elected 3x as often
...
[04:50] <evan82> RC3
...
[04:51] <aaxx1503> evan82, ah ok! Sounds great, what about the anoninimity upgrade? Denominated change and something else secret ?
...
[04:51] <aaxx1503> evan82, you said it would rival ring signatures, that's why I'M asking
...
[04:51] <evan82> aaxx1503, a very huge anon upgrade. very secret

Multi-entry MNs will be nice. Long mentioned. Not a surprise. Such noobs calling it an announcement...

Very huge anon upgrade... The like-ringsigs option or the I2P option? Or both at the same time?

I'm interested in knowing if multi-entry MNs will be automatically re-ticketed based on the DRK qty alone, and if DRK can be added/removed and the tickets shift with that? A great way to drop the node count while still maintaining the income utility for the node operators and the more DRK in the node, the more interested in securing the node the operator must be. Holy run-on sentences, batman! Maintaining one machine and one daemon and one .conf is mo betta than 28...

MNs are not the new mining. People with that expectation have defective expectation and need to read more before whining about their limp money hose. Go ahead and make an emotional decision to sell your DRK, I'll buy it. Qty of MNs will affect piece of pie. Get over "making the prediction come true." You don't get guarantees in mining, either, and this is even less than mining. Hell it's 10% of what the miners get, if you even get it... It's a fee for providing the service of supporting the network. Should the Janitor get paid more than the CEO? Whatever...

  • Updated to support MN payments
  • 1 Gbit connection speed - server located central UK, great connection speeds for entire EU
  • Pretty new GUI
  • STILL just 0.5% fee!
  • Payments straight into your wallet! You don't have to trust the pool operator!
  • Setting failover nodes mean you NEVER LOSE A SHARE!

Just point your miner at stratum+tcp://drk.p2pool.n00bsys0p.co.uk:7903, with your Darkcoin address as your username, and x as your password!

Whatever...

This is interesting stuff.
I'm almost completely transferred all my bitcoin's to darkcoin. Anonymity+Great Dev is a much more winning factor.

Damn. The trolls can't panic me into selling because all my DRK are tied up in masternodes.
What a brilliant feature of Darkcoin. Masternodes as built-in panic suppressors...wait the price is down I need to buy more DRK for my masternodes.

When the 10 coin Darksend limit is removed on RC3, along with the other updates to Masternodes/Darksend etc etc, watch the price shoot up sky high..And the trolls would be running to secure some darkcoin.
