  • Updated to support MN payments
  • 1 Gbit connection speed - server located central UK, great connection speeds for entire EU
  • Pretty new GUI
  • STILL just 0.5% fee!
  • Payments straight into your wallet! You don't have to trust the pool operator!
  • Setting failover nodes mean you NEVER LOSE A SHARE!

Just point your miner at stratum+tcp://drk.p2pool.n00bsys0p.co.uk:7903, with your Darkcoin address as your username, and x as your password!
Cheers mate, back on your node. Smiley

Damn I am no longer the top hash there! Up yours,  X.........dB9T!  Angry   Cheesy

Damn. The trolls can't panic me into selling because all my DRK are tied up in masternodes.
What a brilliant feature of Darkcoin. Masternodes as built-in panic suppressors...wait the price is down I need to buy more DRK for my masternodes.

Wish I could buy more. But I'm happy with my 1 node. No extra money until I sell my DRKs....which isn't gonna happen for a long while. Once DRK makes a run at LTC ....who knows what'll happen next.

Good lord, I'm having all kinds of trouble the last couple days.

This morning I tried to send coin to Mintpal and Cryptsy but never got any confirmations on my end and of course it never showed up on their end.  Check the transaction ID and it doesn't exist on the blockchain.  I removed everything but wallet.dat in the darkcoin folder and restarted, but after the reindex, my coin total still does not show those, "Sent" coins.

I'm sure they're still in the wallet, but am unsure what to do.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

*edit*  Just had the idea to restore a backup from yesterday.  We'll try that first.  If anyone has other ideas, I'm all ears.

What are the advantages of Darkcoin over Bitcoin's stealth addresses?
Sorry for this might have been asked before, but I could not find an answer to this.
You may read about stealth addresses here: http://sourceforge.net/p/bitcoin/mailman/message/31813471/

You may read about stealth addresses here: http://sourceforge.net/p/bitcoin/mailman/message/31813471/

Darkcoin's anonymity is built into the coin, while those stealth addresses are a 3rd factor and not built into Bitcoin itself..which would make me not use it because it's not trusted...

Also Darkcoin has other anonymity updates coming up such as the implementation of I2P to mask your Ip address and Ring Sigs to further anonymize transactions.

As you can see the requirements to use the stealth addresses are hefty and deter normal users from even attempting to use it for Bitcoin and the Developers of Bitcoin would never make it anonymous, as that goes against it's original purpose and would backfire on it. However, Bitcoin being transparent also stops many companies and organizations from using it because their competitors would be able to see every purchase they make, every transactions that's sent to them, and if you own a Private Company, such as Dell etc etc, you would want to use an anonymous crypto, so your transaction info couldn't be used against you like it could with Bitcoin.
Quote
* Requirements

1) Generated scriptPubKey must be globally unique

2) Must be only spendable by payee

3) scriptPubKey and associated transaction must be indistinguishable to
third-parties from other transactions in some anonymity set.

4) Method must be fully deterministic and funds recoverable from a
wallet seed and blockchain data for both payee and payor.

5) Funds must be efficiently recoverable by payee with reasonable, and
   configurable, computation and bandwidth costs.

6) Must be compatible with CoinJoin/Must not leak information to payee
about what txins were used to pay them.

7) Must be compatible with multisig-protected wallets.

Cool Must not make assumptions about txin scriptSig form.

9) Must be possible to prove to third parties that payment was made in
accordance to instructions without revealing any other information.

It's kind of depressing that there are over a million dollars a day worth of dunderheads playing with (and losing) DRK, but comforting that the smart and rich are stuffing their coffers with it as fast as they can.  Grin

I'm sure it has been mentioned many times in this thread, but at over 1000 pages isn't exactly easy to find. But can someone point me to a masternode setup guide? What is needed exactly and how is it setup?

I need baby-level instructions, or at least some instructions. Thanks.

If anyone has other ideas, I'm all ears.

ddos attacks on Mintpal and Cryptsy at the moment.

Is it an up to date version? Since it's 1 week old and with all that happened I have doubts ^^

this is not a new version!
i dont think that it is ok to use this after the fork

Only reason this coin goes up is because of the pumpers, so quit kidding yourself!

No-one is pumping now, so what is the price doing? oh look......its FLATLINING!
Then bagholders will start dumping because theirs money to be made elsewhere.

Seriously who gives a FK about Dorkcoin or anycoin for that matter!

They all die when the pumpers give up!
