Who the hell knows. There is too much confusion and uncertainty about development status.

Apparently if you have time to hang out on IRC all day you are privy to material information that comes from Evan in snippets. Otherwise you are stuck guessing and interpreting out of context quotes and other third or fourth hand information.

Markets don't like uncertainty. Evan should post a few sentences about current status and current plans here or on twitter.

Edit: Is there a legitimate lack of understanding as to where to obtain official information?  If so, I apologize as I didn't think there was, and I will make a concerted effort this week to make it more clear for everyone.

I've been busy working for the last few days and obviously haven't been spending much time on the forums and IRC. I just read through the last few pages and it's obvious there is a serious lack of information and a good deal of misinformation. So from this point forward I'm going to be filling in eltito (our community leader) on the development status as it happens and he's going to be the one posting official replies and filling in the community. I'm hoping this helps form a clearer picture of what's going on and the status of everything.

Fuck the chart. I'm not seeing the problem. The fundamentals of DRK are the same as they were a week ago, if not better (due to voluntary MN payments started). If you are looking for immediate and constant return on your investment, I suggest you not be in the crypto space. If you're looking for a project with a lot of potential and a lot of strengths, then this might be your thing.

So some asshole comes and tells you that your house is worth half of what you paid for it, as of this very moment. If you don't plan on selling it for the next twenty years, then who cares what it's worth TODAY. You only care about the price when you sell it, not the price when you're living in it.

If one bought knowing a little bit about DRK, one knows it will rise way higher than the ATH after RC4 - no need to sell, no need to loose.

If you think about it, it's one of the very few coins which provides something which BTC doesn't.
If a coin doesn't have it, then it's just a speculation, likely P&D target.

How do you know it's going to rise way higher?  This has been dragging on for quite awhile now.  What if RC4 fails?  What if pools refuse to upgrade and payout to masternodes?  There is a large chunk of the network doing just that.  What if miners stop mining because they are now getting 20% less?  Will the masternodes alone be able to support the network?

To many unknowns for you to make the statement "it will rise way higher".  Many people bought because they listened to all of that and now they are underwater.  Maybe these people need to sell for various reasons.  This is not typical lemming panic and this thread is full of disparaging remarks towards people that are merely selling their DRK.  It's theirs to do what they want with it.  That doesn't make them lemming or fools.  People that sold their DRK awhile ago were smart.  

I think this is more a case of people seeing btc and many other coins making huge gains while they sit watching DRK go down and down.  They have had enough of the promises, next great release, lack of communication regarding what's going on with their investment, and the list goes on.

Starting to give up hope on my 2 MNs.. both have recieved 1drk each (running since day1 of spork implementation).. and i know that iam probably just unlucky, but still, 1 frigging drk each, lol... 

and then i browse the darksend webpage and see some nodes having 17, and 13 drk.. i simply cannot be this unlucky..

I still have one node that's been up from the spork that has 0. And 2 that has 1. The best one has over 10.
