Collecting some opinions from the altcoin communities..

What do you think about a DRK exchange where you can buy/sell "digital gold/silver" with DRK (other cryptocoins will be considered, as well), similar as in Bullion Bitcoin & Provident Metals' Elemental Vault but with the most competitive pricing and lowest fees?

Information:
https://bullionbitcoin.com/
http://www.blog.providentmetals.com/gold-and-silver-bullion-investing/elemetal-vault-secure-trading-and-vault-storage.htm

Please leave your feedback by contacting us publicly or privately. Thanks in advance.

"digital gold/silver" - ahahahahaha

I can already buy physical gold/silver etc. with DRK.  Tongue

Yes, Coaex is the second merchant accepting DRK for physical Gold/Silver after Amagi Metals.
In 2014, DRK became the most preferred coin in our store, fyi.

Your prices are not the best, bitgild is far cheaper.

Please turn your monitor upside down cause it seems you are utterly wrong.

https://www.coaex.com/shop/gold-bars/1-gram-gold-bars-igr-999-9-fine/

Considering you assume "Gold is Gold", we are selling around 25% cheaper than Bitgild (Please do include shipping costs, as well). No EU/US gold bullion dealer can beat our prices.

this is not a bargain-basement Smiley and comparison seems even to be wrong...

glad there are more companies accepting drk and crypto in general.

yeah, sure. we have no problems with the others - amagi or bitgild, or the people in this community.
I was just asking people's opinion about an exchange, which is mentioned above.
anyway, we get used to that. I think this is not the right place to discuss such things.

i m really jealous of LTCs Volume.

Looking at wisdom is much more fun than watching drk there.

Hello, as you all know I'm very into DRK but the LTC crash is mostly linked to the drama over Chris at ltcgear. He owns so much hashing power but payouts on his site are delayed and so the dip.

It amazes me that ONE single person/entity can wipe out the LTC market.  There's got to be more to it.

Oh really?

"Litecoin is down because ltcgear is down so Chris who runs the site, and is a major hashing dude, is absent. Hence the ecosystem of litecoin is in flux. Good time for DRK people (though I am in neither having lost my DRK wallet and being a ltcgear person so I'm lost all around sadly)."

It amazes me that ONE single person/entity can wipe out the LTC market.  There's got to be more to it.

Namely, IMHO, ASIC raping.

Note that I DO believe ASICs are good, when you have a fundamental coin with intrinsic value to it. LTC had that for just a little while with its 2.5min tx time, which back then was a HUGE thing. But they promoted LTC as ASIC resistant, which was a sham, mainly because it took them more than 6 month since the first gridseeds to amend their website.

Reality is that C.Lee, creator of LTC, said on numerous occasions he did not believe LTC would ever pick up. He openly said on reddit that he sold most of his at around 2$ and laughed about it. He works as consultant for a few BTC exchanges and companies, and has obvious conflict of interest. He left development in the hands of the community, not as in open-source, as in "here, play with it, its yours, I'm out". LTC development has been dead for more than a year.

Then ASIC's come along, with the usual pre-order scheme. Thousands were poured into it, while LTC still maintained a ASIC-resistant stand. I called them out openly in LTCtalk more than half a year ago. Their main webpage only recently removed such statement.

I bought my first mining rig in Feb'13 falling for their false promises, as I was uninformed and still wrapping my head around the whole ecosystem, knew about BTC ASICs, but had no clue Gridseeds were hitting the streets.. All of a sudden, their prime selling point - "power to the GPU people" - quickly turned over that page as veteran LTC geared up on Gridseeds and forever-undelivered ASICs. Few dozen manufacturers started skyrocketing diff and dumping LTC for profit. Along with Gox and China ban, price plummeted. Apart from Gridseeds, no ASICs were ever delivered. I stopped checking in for more than 6 months, but from a few mailing lists I'm still on, generally the case still stands.

Most intelligents GPU miners soon got the picture and ventured out, coincidentally, DRK rose. I was soooo new to the scene... I only wish I had found DRK 2 or 3 weeks before. I was mining 7 DRK a day for 2 weeks, then diff started rocketing. Sold my rig in August, barely ROI, but managed to get me a MN with the remaining rig sale value, so I did ROI in the end. Never did the actual math, but peanuts and bananas I was there.

LTC, IMHO is lost with thousands of bag holders not knowing what to do, mainly because they're so invested in undelivered or un-ROI'd ASICs.

i never liked LTC. on 2012 i already was mining 50 daily but i quit and sold them very cheap (as cheap as nothing). later it rose to $2~3 and i was so sad. ltc has not any fundamentals but a few people moving huge amounts of it on exchanges.

The price is moving around ~0.006 for almost 5 months now.

And dont show schadenfreude for Litecoin, they are good and honest guys in the crypto world, this really means something today.

The only thing that lacks is innovation, that's what altcoins are about.

glad this is said by a darkcoin core developer. Its so silly when people celebrate the downfall of the first altcoin

Litecoin was not the first altcoin :-)
Just the first popular altcoin.

Interesting
do you have a number you can share ?
(most preferred coin in our store)
 Wink

no, we don't disclose such an information. however, our customers know that information. eastern european rules.
you can also ask and get a verification from your the lead developers about how we do the trade.
i'm pretty sure they will provide such information about us.

clear enough or shall we clarify a little bit more?

anyway, I was asking for a little help here.. it seems i got my reply.

I've used coaex before and can say they are legit.
Saying that as a private person. It's no official recommendation.

Third release of $MN$ is ready! This release has added..

- Monitor / Alert for Masternode "Active" status
- IP Addresses
- Add Sum of wallets setting
- Mouse context menus
- Couple small fixes

She's a bit ugly, but customizable alerts and layout options are up next. Please let me know if you have any problems!

This program monitors your Masternode balances and sends you either a text message or email notification when you are paid.

Normal view...

Currently only available for windows 64 (soon to change)

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/mn-v3-updated-receive-text-message-or-email-notifications-upon-masternode-payment.2805/

if you don't, make sure you charge for it.

lets encourage more app building by paying for stuff.

I was a massive LTC supporter.  I almost rented a small industrial unit to expand my small mining operation.

Then people started asking to be listened to on the issue of ASICs. The majority views were ignored. I turned off my rigs. Sold up around $21.  Then started mining DRK.

Not celebrating the downfall of LTC or the miners. LTC downfall is a problem brought about by the leaderships and their inability to lead and their flagrant avoidance of innovation.

Price and volume almost always follow's innovation & sound developers. Even if it doesn't eventually the market will correct itself and this is what ltc is facing now. Although I don't wish the demise of such a huge coin as lots of people are going to lose investments etc, but I don't think ltc is going to go down so easy. I have a feeling it will be saved from catastrophe.
