The other news worth keeping an eye on is the USA showing signs of allowing sports betting online. Would be interested to see how the special interest groups (mainly casino operators) in the usa will be appeased.

The site you mentioned also doesn't ship until the goal of a certain amount of shirts have been sold, like 50, has been met. It's not a store, it's a fundraiser website.

CafePress allows one person to buy 1 item, and way more than just shirts. The other site would require 49 other people to buy it to for them to be shipped for example.

But if anyone knows of a better way/store to get the items out, I'm all ears.

Edit: also the products from cafepress that I have had shipped to me were good quality.

Hey DRKers what do you guys think of SDC anonimity? A link to be read is fine too.
I've been around on their thread for a while and they claim their tech is way better than darksend, although once I read that the if the anonimization process happens off-chain is better than on-chain.
I am not really good in cryptography so I cannot really understand their whitepaper.

Every anon-coin and their dog has been claiming that for the last year.

The amount of money I've wasted in hedging DRK against "better tech" is unbelievable - Monero, CLOAK, XC, SDC, you name it. They all went "down the pan" and took my money with them even though they all have some aspect of their tech that could be considered to be "way better than DRK".

The fact is that Darkcoin has had an incredibly consistent and successful development roadmap for almost a year now. The fact that it switched to pre-emptive, background mixing means that no matter what super-duper anonymisation algos anyone develops, its unlikely to ever improve on Darkcoin's due to the amount of redundancy it has. Even when there's been some kind of issue (like, say the RC3 forking) it's always been constructively addressed in a way that leads to new innovation.

Add to that the fact that it's an "original" and you've got something that's unlikely to ever loose its marketcap lead in this sector unless it screws up big time.

Agree, plus even if some have "better tech" a bit like betamax vs VHS, sometimes the best tech does not win.. DRK seems to have the best community (to me).. Which could end up actually being its ace.
