BE SMART, USE DASH ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

"Yes superb, nice to have a 3D artist like you in the DRK comunity!

just fun to do that. i have no other skills

It's one of my dream to be able to make something like this.
My fisrt and last try was with my amiga 2000 on Sculpt Animate 4D.
I made an animation of a transparent sphere bouncing on two mirror... more than one week of calculation and rendering for a 32 frames animation.
After this I stop, try vaguely 3dsMax but was already lost....

I have no artistic talent at all but I like Blender, you can knock stuff up pretty quick once you've gone through a few youtube tutorials. I've used it to model some stuff that I print out on a mate's 3d printer. Smiley

online in UHD resolution.

That looks absolutely amazing.

Great looking piece of promotion. I didn't get the shredded coins at first glance but now I do (duh) it's very powerful.

Really nice image as always Raptor.
Maybe you can add on the backgroud a coin reconstruction.. ?
Foreground the same coin some link with a coin in backgroud that it begin his reconstruction?

nice idea. render that
And maybe little less destruction of the first coin (to see a bit more the logo on the coin Wink

Wouldn't that totally de-anonimize the coin?  Tongue  Grin

It's a snapshot of the begining of an anonimization. (but it should not look like a teleporation, because some OtherCoinD use this term)
Then in backgroud we can put lot's of coin reconstructions Wink

Kind of like:

WonkaVision

lol, I was thinking Wonkavision.

And Raptor, if you wanted, if we had that image of it being destructed in a large format, with no background it could go on some cafepress items:

We could also put an almost constructed back up one on the back.

hey cafe press
i do not understand,
you page does not accept BTC or DRK ?!?!?!
You are 'promoting' cryptos but do not accept them ?!
Strange !
Please ping me and i can help you getting set up with DRK

Welcome Francis Reynders to the team!

Francis has joined the team as a core developer and has an academic degree in Computer science, is Linux LPIC-2 certified and has over 20 years of development experience. For his day job he's currently working as an Integration specialist for ITSM systems.

As for contributions, he rewrote the new start-many implementation, keepass integration (https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin/pull/96) and is currently working on reimplementing the dsee/dseep commands for the masternode protocol to make them more efficient.

Welcome!

I don't think I saw this!  Welcome!  And thanks so much for joining the team!

I've been following the Spreadcoin thread since they're looking to compete with Darkcoin and are using Darkcoin code.  While the dev seems very competent, I haven't been worried.  Until now.  Maybe.

It looks like they're going to have the number of coins required for a masternode be determined by market forces: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=715435.msg10076444#msg10076444

Is this a good or bad idea?  If it's a good idea, can we beat them to the punch please and add it to Darkcoin first?

If this is a bad idea, just ignore me Smiley

I don't like the idea at all.... Causes more maintenance for. Masternode owners and potential for people to lose their masternode if they can't afford to buy more Spr.  So basically it's forcing ppl to buy more, causing the price to inflate... Ha another circle jerk.  I'll keep my DRK masternodes and not have to worry about buying more unless I want more nodes.
