Great News, can someone inform them that DRK is the most useful coin to use?
See that its still linked to BTC at the site if you look at value side.

It looks to me like there's a bit of a supply problem with DRK. (i.e. market supply not coin supply).

As far as I can see there's about 6000 DRK for sale in the known universe and its almost all on Cryptsy.

Bitfinex has less than 300 which could be due to 'hidden orders' except for the fact that it appears to have spiked up to 0.00634 this afternoon on a volume of a mere 90 DRK.

That's what I was saying earlier about liquidity - there is none. It's all tied up in masternodes where people are earning money with their DRK. As soon as there's the slightest bit of demand for this coin the valuation looks like it might fly. All that's being traded right now is granular DRK.

i hope that the 1215 buyorder at 0.00598000 on Bitfinex gets raised a bit .. could get interesting to observe then

Please help ! Huh Huh Huh Huh
downloaded DarkCoin,
but the wallet is not synchronized , says the source node is not available, try to change the Sit - connection does not work, brendmauzer disabled completely,
 Please describe in detail what could be the problem?
 thank you

- try close and start wallet (with first-time use it needs to create a peers.dat file which gets created after you closed the wallet for the first time)
- try create a textfile called darkcoin.txt and add following nodes :

addnode=54.187.228.106:9999
addnode=68.226.51.134:9999
addnode=192.241.246.214:9999
addnode=93.95.228.131:9999
addnode=94.23.148.203:9999
addnode=212.129.12.103:9999
addnode=81.134.134.100:9999
addnode=108.61.211.107:9999

save textfile as darkcoin.txt, rename as darkcoin.conf and place this file inside the same folder as where your peers.dat is located (its in your hidden folder, unhide your folders if necessary : users/yourusername/appdata/roaming/Darkcoin)

- if above doesnt work try delete the darkcoin.conf and delete the peers.dat and restart your wallet twice

- if that all fails it must be a firewall problem i think .. try to exclude the darkcoin-qt.exe in your firewall then if your using windows

Thank you start syncing !
 it worked !

I checked BTER and they seem to have nothing (but maybe I'm not seeing the full order book).

cex.io: ...hey ! That's a nice looking exchange. I didn't know about it.

Indeed not too many DRK for sale at the moment

my big question is that why is DRK still on exchanges linked to BTC
it might sound stupid , but is there a way for instance to ask Big Vern to block DRK/BTC Exchange ?
There must be a moment that DRK should be disconnected.
I know DRK keeps his value, but it BTC value next Year is USD 100 then DRK would be 60 cents
anyone has idea about this ??

You can be sure that if BTC fails, interest in most cryptos will wither away at the same time. There is no "overtaking" BTC for the short term anyways, all crypto is bound to it.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

So why not we all move to cex.io ? Seems to me the easiest way to buy DRK and BTC at the market price using fiat for people outside US?  It seems the best exchange for people in UK as you dont need to pay SEPA fee if you deposit money by card. Or am I missing something?

w.t.f. is Paycoin ?

Does anybody here know anything about it ?

What's it doing with such a high marketcap out of the blue ?

Is it pegged or something ?
