-- InstantX;
-- DarkSend;
-- Masternode Blinding;
-- Decentralized Governance?
are already out? Instant-aner-XY?

All those great innovations did not create even a ripple effect in the crypto ocean. No one gives a flying fuck, let us face it no matter how painful the truth might seem.

Those "great innovations" are just stolen, renamed, warmed-over, and poorly implemented technology from Bitcoin.

What DASHCULT calls "InstantX" the rest of the world calls "green addresses."

What DASHCULT calls "DarkSend" the rest of the world calls "broken CoinJoin.'

What DASHCULT calls "Masternodes" the rest of the world calls "unregistered/unlicensed HYIP/MSB."

The rebrand hype was just a pump so THE DARKCOIN FOUNDATION INC could dump more of their pre- and insta-mined loot.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

What DASHCULT calls "InstantX" the rest of the world calls "green addresses."

The rest of the world either doesn't understand InstantX or green addresses. The other one works only business-to-business while requiring trust, and the other one works anyone-to-anyone trustlessly.

The rebrand hype was just a pump so THE DARKCOIN FOUNDATION INC could dump more of their pre- and insta-mined loot.

Are you saying they don't hold the majority of the masternodes anymore?  Huh

Is Bitcoin the 'Mark of the Beast'? (Op-Ed)

http://cointelegraph.com/news/114713/is-bitcoin-the-mark-of-the-beast-op-ed

....Bitcoin offshoots like Dash have already taken the privacy issue into their own hands, building anonymity — not just pseudonymity — right into their protocol and masternode network........

How do you stop a bank run that has already started? Even if you're limited to 60 Euro withdrawal per day, EVERYONE will be pulling that maximum every day from now until 'the end'

Not if they're anything like me with exchanges.

I had quite a bit of Bitshares (in fact my entire Bitshares holdings) plus Bitbay (ok - not the most critical of assets) on BTER before, during and after the hack and throughought the weeks of downtime. I didn't even touch it after BTER re-opened.

I still haven't touched it because I think exchanges are great places to leave money if you're lazy - I could never work out how to use the bitshares client and was more worried about losing it off exchange than on.

So maybe many Greeks are like me. Just leave it there and hope for the best  Wink

(P.S. I was forced to take my Dash off the exchange to set up my 2 masternodes so unfortunately I wasn't able to avail myself of this "great service" for Dash).

Hi !

Can someone tell me how much a masternode earns per month?

They get 20% of the block reward right? Where can I find the number of masternodes? then I can calculate it myself

Have some dash in my wallet for some time now, I think I should really set up some masternodes ..

thanks

They get 45%. The amount varies, but I've built a spreadsheet for calculating the minimums you might expect:

https://masternode.me/downloads/diy_masternode_calc.ods

also, this page stays up to date with the network and calcs against his rewards:

http://178.254.18.153/~pub/Darkcoin/masternode_payments_stats.html

thanks for the info mate !

cheers

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Currency wars hotting up, Indonesians are dumping the dollar and want to use the ruble, so this must be good for bitcoin then ?
http://rt.com/business/271018-indonesia-bans-foreign-currencies/
the ban is on any transactions, including payments for hotel accommodation, flights, rental property and the payment of wages, as well as fixed prices in any other currency except the Indonesian rupiah. Breaking the law can be punished with imprisonment of up to a year or a fine of $15,000.

Might be worth keeping an eye on this,

A very interesting development. I think it's worth pointing out that the population of Indonesia is about 250 million, as it seems to surprise many people.
