The Evolution of Money: Cryptocurrency
Nowadays, many people feel that in our world (and in the world of money) something is going wrong..., but they can't understand what it is, what the cause is and where we are moving? Let us try to clear up the situation, glimpsing at human, money, and cryptocurrency history.

God damnit... Looks like we need a press release in Mandarin along the lines of "Do not buy Dash if you aren't convinced by the technology" or "If you buy Dash keep it in your own wallet! Scammers will try to take it from you!"

The LTC bubble is bursting so hard I almost feel sorry for the bagholders.

Be sorry for greedy LTC trolls in trollbox who attacked everyone who wrote that pump is very soon over??!

Naa, I'm really happy that LTC shitcoin chinese ponzi pump collapsed Smiley

Now crypto back to real coins like DASH:)

yes, btc38 and btc-e.
my 2 duffs

How much money did they want to add DASH?

here's the info on btc38....

So LTC pumping, BTC pumping. Time for DASH already? Let's hope Tok is right while I'm trying to get my buy orders filled. Cool

BTC38 doesn't carry a DASH/CNY pair.  There will be no DASH pump.  Sorry.

Its really odd.  I get why there is most of the coins there that are there....they have been around for a long time...but Stellar and Bitshares?  Does someone have an ear over there?  We've been one of the top several cryptos for months now.  Why?

They have "Coin Voting" page, stating "you can vote on what you'd like to trade on BTC38."
http://www.btc38.com/trade/vote_for_trade_en.html

Note: they do not have Dash listed, but DRK for Darkcoin.

And this: "Each of our user has 1 free vote per coin. We are also accepting paid votes, which have no limit on the number of votes one can cast. The lowest cost for one vote is 0.0001BTC."

Smiley money votes. almost like in the U.S. world politics.

hopefully one of our dash whales can make it happen. or when the new dash update comes out we could make a proposal to pay to get on the exchange with the blockchain funds. i would vote for it.
fixed the last part for you. Grin

What I really don't understand is why we are still know as Darkcoin on their site.
One major consern about rebranding was because of the bad meaning of Darkcoin in chineese. And on one major chineese exchange we stil are know as Darkcoin.
Did some chineese friendly from the comunity contact them, to as least change our name in the vote list??

Do you really want those guys owning all the Dash in the world and having the Dash name associated for ever more with a scam that reached into the pockets of hundreds of gullable Chinese investors, fleeced them of all known Dash, convinced them to 'gift' it to an address over which they had no access and then proceeded to dump said holdings and run off, never to be seen again ?

Good luck with ever seeing any adoption after that.

The thing is, that kind of treatment might actually work favorably for a monetary medium which was more established, since the additional network effect may outweigh the "bad aftertaste" effect if it was already sufficiently prolific. But for a fledgling currency I doubt it.

Hey Ladies and Guys
i am doing a little Fundraiser for our PR pod.

I am always tipping writers who help with PR and Stories

(last fundraiser was August 2014)

I know Fundraisers are not that popular (due to the Blockchain Funding Thingi coming soon)
but we still have to get by until that is in place.

So please

But now, the chinamen running this "send 500 LTC to this address and you will earn rewards" scheme have panicked, are moving all those coins to exchanges and another LTC massive dump is due at any moment.

I hope you're wrong cos I'm in the market right now - got in at 19.

I deserve to be burned, I know, but thought I'd join in the fun just to refresh my trading skills (or lack thereof).

Closely monitoring the 1-minute and 5-minute charts with my double espresso to hand.

Watch yourself Tok. It's completely and totally untrustworthy at this time. It won't surprise me at all if another all consuming drop will be incoming soon.

It's ok. I got back out at 21.5 with another profit. That 1-minute double top didn't look too savoury and was agreeing with a 3-minute correction coming over the horizon.

Thanks for the concern though  Wink

I just set a buy order at 0.01.

Good call ! I was thinking of 15 but be optimistic by all means. Hope you scoop something.

...you were right. It's plummeting again after bouncing off that 22 resistance.

Here's me thinking that the Litecoin market is high liquidity, professional and mature while Dash is finding it's feet in the nursery.

Now I'm finding out that the Litecoin market is driven by euphoria and panic on one hand and outright incompetence, fear and crooked schemes on the other. Turns out Dash is the more monetarily sound environment after all.

So to anyone overly influenced by my concerned posts of last night, just feel free to....

Good Morning!  I've slept through all the excitement!  Ah, I think my lesson from you today, Mr. Toknormal Sir, is that there is no way to really know what's going on, LOL.  Still, your explainations / guesses are definitely better than mine, and I can understand we need more liquidity.  But I suspect real liquidity will come when DASH holders feel that they are selling their coins for what they're really worth in their eyes, and we're nowhere near that at the moment.  The only coins I sell are what I need to pay for the service of my masternodes and when I need help with bills.  And always at the last second because I'm hoping something will save me from selling, LOL.  So I do believe you are correct that liquidity will come when the price goes higher.

I keep the BTC-e troll box scrolling in a window pushed right over to the left hand side of my screen. I don't have any coins on BTC-e so don't ever post there. I just enjoy watching the troll box characters doing their stuff. It truly is like watching the criminally insane partying. The BS, rhetoric and sheer bi-polar swings of views, beliefs, opinions and agendas is truly beyond the pale. Basically NOT A SINGLE PERSON ON THERE HAS ANY CLUE AT ALL AS TO WHAT WILL HAPPEN, they just like to talk like there's some point to each line of text they're typing but I think it's just the musings of fools, try-hards, bastards, bignoters and buffoons...

A student from Berlin is doing a thesis on "Anonimity in Bitcoin" and needs some ppl taking a survey.
Could you please upvote it on Reddit and take the time to do the survey?

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3cq4w2/german_econ_student_needs_some_help_bitcoin_survey/

She also needs some expert interviews and I suggested she might wanna talk to Evan.
