wow this really terrible, i suppose this will never happen in dash isnt ?

I don't think there are many SPV(last few blocks, no genesis block verification) clients running on the Dash network (android versions perhaps?)
The masternodes keep the network strong as they are full upto date clients and make up the majority, also because the Dash blockchain is only 1 gigabyte as opposed to 40 GB and syncs quicker, people will be more inclined and technically able to run full clients on their home machines.

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

how big dash blockchain in 2020 Huh
btw with masternode, in theory even if there a lot of ppl using spv then MN will keep the blockchain unforked. am i right ?

The blockchain size will never be an issue for Dash.  Got that one covered when it starts showing signs of needing to be addressed.

Speculatively.
If those naughty Chinese miners are gaining a 1% advantage by using an SPV client to cut down on latency, given that the Dash network is quicker, block times are shorter and less bloated, would there be any point in taking the risk of a fork using a weak client (that does not even exist yet) and if lets say they could only gain a 0.1% advantage to everyone else, would they even bother, what would be the point ?  Roll Eyes
