I must say I think most of the stuff you post is just thinly veiled discomfort with what you say is "cultism" in this thread. In fact, that's partly due to the amount of mindless trolling that's gone on since the last price rise. It isn't the 'fanboyism' that sticks in people's gullet, it's the valuation because when that wasn't there nobody bothered.
Quite honestly neither is true. The only thing that brought me over to post on this thread was the arrogant stomping on dashcoin (maybe not the substance of the actual deal that was made, but certainly some of the hostile and tone deaf posts from darkcoin supporters) that I saw on their thread, which I happened to have followed for the past six months or so. I've never been a fan of the launch, instamine, etc., nor the technology but I never bothered to comment on it much either, certainly not on this thread, regardless of price rises (this year or last year). The dismissive response you give, that criticism aries not from disagreement or disapproval on substance but out of about jealousy and in response to price rises is both incorrect and just adding more fuel to the arrogant, tone deaf, and cultish vibe that people get form you guys. Probably best you drop that one.

fyi iCEBREAKER is part of the hashfast-scam that went on 2013/14.
Icebreaker is just a grade A IceHole with a huge chip on his shoulder.
While being an icehole, in itself.. is annoying but not technically against the rules... the way he goes about his attacks, bullying, baiting and harassment of people and companies.. and then complains when it finally happens to him... is really immature. it wouldnt shock me if he was just a kid (or very immature kidult)
Not off topic at all, you are a known bully and hypocrite. Famous to troll any competitor's thread, your investments come first right ? bump

I don't closely follow the price of DRK, especially as XMR has been on a distracting near 300% rise in the last month. The rebranding fiasco and its involvement with another CryptoNote coin is what got my attention. The intellectual dishonesty of the insta-rebrand bothers me. If something isn't broken, you don't fix it. Your Dear Dark-cum-Dash Cult Leader 'fixed' the name of his one-man hobby project, which is functionally an admission that the Dark brand was broken. But...we've been hearing since forever ago that Dark is a swell, amazing brand and not shady AT ALL. After all, you have to click-through an agreement disavowing using it for anything naughty (just like with uTorrent Grin Grin Grin). The kids who thought Dark was a swell amazing not shady AT ALL brand were blindsided when Mr. Dark-cum-Dash suddenly informs them what they believed and invested in was, in fact, actually broken and HELLA SHADY all along. Combined with the instamine and remote killswitch, a pattern and practice of shadiness results. When these points are brought up in the relevant thread, those who hope to gain unusually high yields from their investment products go bonkers and start talking about bounties, Old West style justice, etc. I'm sure how you can see the optics of such a situation are less than ideal (to put it nicely). Smiley troll alert. Don't you have some threads to clog with spam posts for your crummy little pool? Or did BadBear tell you to knock off the repetitive advertisement?

Some of us are having loads of fun! I must say I think most of the stuff you post is just thinly veiled discomfort [...] He is doing this because he wants to protect his investment. Monero being a "substitute" coin, he thinks that by degrading the image of DASH he will help to increase the demand for it. Therefore, he will not stop if you try to find a middleground or because you are nice to him.

I'm sure how you can see the optics of such a situation are less than ideal (to put it nicely). Scraping the barrel for substance I think. The word "intellectual dishonesty" is a term associated with analytical appraisals, not marketing identities. The rest of your post is basically an attempt at a bit of "intellectual dishonesty" of your own in the true sense of the term which amounts to a load of mud slinging in the hope that some of it might stick. Sorry, but it isn't and the reason it isn't is because your part of a but hurt little cult yourself that's rattling around in a can and running out of toys to throw out of its pram.

vertoe is a "he". There is no point in exploring that angle. No one knows for sure, but I highly doubt it. vertoe (apparently) is a known activist for NGO's. He is a highly talented dev. Why on earth would he use a clearnet nickname so similar to a darknet market? Specially if you're the Admin? That would be the ultimate brainless, stupid, moronic, foot-in-the-bucket thing to do.

Of course everything in between can happen. The fact there's no other crypto using that name is in their favour (and the Dashcoin business does not bother me one bit - it was a dead project) plus most cryptos don't even have a trademark in the first place. The vast majority of commercial businesses trade without a registered trademark, so it may just end up a non-issue.
So remain DRK. Dashcoin was and still alive.statements like this smells like misinformation

I believe the first drop actually ties with the 20,000 dump from that gambling site. Only a fraction of that was actual sell pressure from the rebrand. Inconvenient timing though.
