I have made my decision. I am entering the DASH space. Buy wall is up on POLO. Just getting feet wet with 1000 DASH.
I pray this investment pays off one day.
Bless you all keep up the great work and strong community.
Don't worry about the FUD.
As you may know already all the real chat goes on on dashtalk and not here. As IIregrettably can't contribute to coding or any of the immense as amount of work being done on the technical front due to lack of technical skills... I've resigned myself to slumming it out on this thread and poking fun at the paid clowns trolling here. We have a great community and a very deep and talented Dev team. I'm sure your time spent with this project will be rewarding. I'm down to back you up here bro. Its important we build a strong Bitcoin talk community and keep things tight here too IMO...but its up to you guys really. This coin is one of the best. After months of going over all the worthless shit p&d and making good profits. Ive had this in my sights for a long while. Great potential here for crypto future. I still see BTC being around though. Fuck this shit is hard to buy. No one selling to me : ( Just give it few more minutes...

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Did you get ur money back from IceBreaker? I remember you got scammed on Hashfest. Or did they just pay you XMR instead to troll here with full of hate. Notice you're work here is not getting the things it should since XMR is like down next to Rubycoin or something like that... they don't pay for bad results you know.

Welcome to our cozy little community where you can find serious conversation, light entertainment, troll fud ranging from outright boring to .. uhm... outright boring and freedom of speech (unmoderated thread). All depending of course on the mood of the users in here Some tips : Encrypt your wallet Make backups on extern sources (USB drives/sticks etc) Try to keep your wallet offline as much as possible For help with masternode setup check this one : https://dashtalk.org/threads/taos-masternode-setup-guide-for-dummies.2680/or just ask questions in here. edit : and i highly recommend Dashwhale ( https://www.dashwhale.org/index.php?page=home) once you have a masternode up and running to receive mobile notifications and check some data there.

Well be part of the DASH project, vote for budget, and sure earning some more DASH.. You only need to have fix IP have, 1GB (for the moment) in HD and a not so bad internet connection. (Even if there is some method to have a changing IP.) EDIT : should be online 24/24h 365D/year Here you go : https://dashtalk.org/forums/masternode-guides.66/

Advantages : Voting power Helping the network get stronger Best to use a vps, VULTR will cost you 5 USD per month with good specs .. but you have several more VPS providers (Digital Ocean / Amazon) within that price range

Are there any plans for a decentralized DASH marketplace?
There are tons of ideas, and anyone with initiative can implement anything for the Dash network, and even get funding for the project via the blockchain. But they have to convince MN owners to vote on it. If someone does try, I'm certain they'll get as much help from the core team as they can give. I mean, they'll help with any issues in Dash Code, etc... But the core project is so focused right now, and probably for the foreseeable future, that I don't think the core developers will be doing such things. However, I for one would really like something like that implemented and have my fingers crossed that someone will propose such a project. The whole idea behind the Virtual Corporation is that anyone can step up to the plate and work for it, if accepted by the voters. And I must suggest strongly, that anyone wanting to do a proposal, think months in advance, start a discussion on it (preferably on Dashwhale). You need time to gain the approval of such a diverse group of voters. The community needs time to digest your proposal, make suggestions, and for you to implement those suggestions. In a very real way, the forum thread that contains your proposal is your contract with the Dash Virtual Corporation. These proposals have been coming out so loosely, mostly things that Evan says he'd like us to do, and we just do it. Eventually, proposals should come from anyone, and they should be formalized in a thread, with final specifications and a time table. The community should keep them honest and raise the red flag if something is going wrong, so the MN can vote down the proposal and stop the funding on solid grounds. Don't get me wrong, we Know our current core team are keeping tight watch on all funds they spend, and they're a small group doing so many things, but plan on putting that ledger out for public view. But that's not how a decentralized system should work, (relying on one person to tell us what to fund and do) and we need to start setting up some rules/traditions. IMO Look what happened to DashWhale's proposal. The implimented Evan's vision of a place where we can manage Dash voting, and a forum for proposals. However, Evan never formally Green lighted the project, I suspect because he doesn't want to be the almighty dictator and to let MN voters do the right thing. And MN voters won't support it, with many saying the reason was that Evan didn't say they should. We all (community and MN voters) need to grow up and make the decisions that are right for Dash. Will others that start projects, hoping to show they can do it prior to asking for funding, now stop because it looks very much like they can't win approval? A project that's already obviously had a TON of work put into it for the benefit of the Dash Virtual Corporation, can't even get funding boggles my mind. Otherwise it's been going very well

Can I run one with a shitty pc at home? welcome I run one on an even shittier old PC on windows from 2007 (Intel Duo Processor E4600) You can run a hot/cold masternode on 1 machine to test things out. Make sure your router has port 9998-9999 with forwarding open on your local host (192.168.0.3?)
