It's just a never-ending cascade of baits and switches, keeping the bagholder hopes up that if they just buy a little more, the moon rocket will take off.
Just like it's just a never-ending cascade of trolling and fud trying to generate drama, keeping the bagholder hopes up that if the big bad DASH would just go away, the Moronero rocket would take off? I can't believe we were typing the same thing at the same time.

This guy Evan ...He underestimated everyone Judging by your level of frustration, you got that the wrong way around....everyone underestimated him. I agree. I underestimated him for quite some time. I didn't expect in a million years that he would embark on such a prolonged, elaborate fraudulent scam. Charles Ponzi would be really proud of him. I mean... - Instamined 1.5 million coins in 8 hours - Reduced the supply from 80M to 20M, making his bags 4x more valuable - Implemented masternodes so he could put the instamine to work by taking a chunk from the miners' pockets - Created the Darkcoin foundation so he can milk coins from people that think it actually means anything. 100 Dash per Lifetime Subscription. - Rebranded a few times so he could gain new investors. - Implemented a decentralized budgeting system that works this way: A proposal is created, newbies vote it with their few masternodes and Evan comes with 1500 of his own to own the majority. Some of the proposals are really interesting, like : Up to 5000USD for a wordpress website, 5500USD for Public Awarness Campaign (huh ?), 3000 USD for the Core Team, because nobody wants to touch their masternode profits, and many more. Hehehe! ...and people still believe him.

Not sure what you mean by "more alive than ever."
Related to investments I believe in the proper vision and hard work to achieve it. Nothing else. When I see your coin (Monero), I see an empty forum and a lot of Monero people trolling here instead of working and doing something useful for the coin. When I see Dash i see thinks like this: https://dashtalk.org/threads/v12-release.5888/page-60#post-71643Only the discussion of the V12 Dash Release took 1,194 replies and 39,559 views in our main forum. An entire community (not only Evan) is working to achieve the vision. We had forks and other issues in the past in Darkcoin and Dash. Who cares? We solved it. The price is downtrend, who cares? It will go uptrend if our work is good enough. You look desperate and you act desperate because you are losing what you think is a race. Because the work we are doing is good work and yours is not. Thats the reason of your hard trolling, and the paid trolls like adam. You can spend the next 18 months trolling here every day, repeating like a madman every day the same. That will not change a single dime of Dash or Monero valuation in the future. You are a useless person. (excuse my grammar and vocabulary mistakes, english is my third language)

Periodic Public Service Announcement
This thread has a serious troll infestation. Casual or new readers should adjust their bullshit detector up a notch or 2. Of particular interest is the Argumentum ad Nauseam, repeating the same tired points on every page of this thread.

Has anybody thought about renting super computer time for mining X11? When I read about the TITAN supercomputer running off of a series of gpus the imagination starts to really come into play here.
I remember someone saying they throw 1 gigahash at the mining, and it pushed the difficulty up and caused instablities at the pool, so its a catch 22 situation, and also if you're talking ultra quick then there is a getwork supply problem from the network, so your mega quantum powered computer is just a little too fast for everything around it to keep up. That would explain why quantum computers would have an issue going after crypto as well, if I follow correctly.

Is "Dash Project" the same as The Darkcoin Foundation? Or is it the for-profit start-up for which you were recruiting the month before launching (what's now called) Dash? Is it using funding from the instamine? Core Team Budget
In September and October we received the core-team budget, which was 1176 DASH each month. This was then paid out in two separate payments for the September and October core-team budget. September’s payments were miscalculated, so we paid out the rest of the remaining September budget in October.
The core team compensation is meant purely as a token of appreciation for the work being done within the project, not as a means to work purely on Dash. In the future we expect this to eventually change as the project matures and our budget is enough to support those maintaining the project.
There’s two types of classes of membership within the core team presently, those that are paid a fixed fee, which is generally for writing, translating or community outreach roles. The second type of role is for software development, marketing, administration and automation. Are these people considered by "Dash Project" to be employees or contractors or interns or paid volunteers or what? How should they report the income on their taxes? Write it off as charity?

Not quite. Quantum computers, once sufficiently advanced, can directly attack most factorization and discrete log problems. (rsa/dsa/ecc) see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shor%27s_algorithmThese 'hard' math problems (x*y=4,107,155,302,853,037. find x and y)* are pretty much the core security feature of most crypto today. This attack would work off of historical public keys to find their matching private key, acquiring control of the funds. (never reusing an address would thwart this attack, btw) But adding some twists to existing code can prevent this. see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamport_signature and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merkle_signature_schemeI don't think quantum computers would be useful for mining due to the complexity of double-sha256 or x11, but I could be wrong about that. *the numbers are much, much bigger in reality

Fair enough, so to get back on topic: Any news on the iOS wallet and/or Electrum yet? AFAIK both have been overdue for a while now everything overdue everything needs time unfortunately iTunes: replied, we are back in review (they are writing their own rules, so we better be patience) electrum: some technical holdups, takes longer as planned (but in the works) Thanks for the update. I'm really looking forward to the iOS wallet coming out. I used the test version quite a bit and it was working great for me. The shape shift integration is pretty slick.
