Will not be paid with next budget. This proposal exeeds the remaining
unallocated budget of 591 DASH!

FYI.... my advice to budget proposal OP : try to get as many votes as possible as its battling other budget proposals for allocation right now...

edit : with the one-time payment of the sponsership of the Daily Decrypt, the budget round after the next one should get the Instantx-Soda_Machin covered (frees up 150 Dash).
(unless another budget proposal pops up). Not sure if this budget proposal needs to be resubmitted though ...

I ment just cans, without "D". Cans from bottom, so bottom filled 100%, and less as we go up with same rate as on pic above?

3 times DASH there, bit too much for me :-)
Has to look fresh, easy, attractive ( even after you look at it 20 times ). This one looks to me as good for second generation, when everybody knows what that is.

port mapping - I think they are referring to port forwarding(like allowing port 9999 in to a port on a local machine).  Same as what is required for a masternode.  If you do that with a bitcoin node(port 8333) you can get more connections than just 8.  Without forwarding you are only downloading (not uploading).

We may be upgrading to an ODROID-XU4 because the pi is taking an hour to sync up on bootup.  Also an Easter egg might just make it in if time permits.
Can you forceable add 8 or more ultra fast masternode seeds with the lowest latency in the config so that the wallet updates only from them and stays on them and doesn't need to seek, or is this a case of the Pi not keeping up with data flow ?

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

+1.

I think that one looks great without the top and bottom banners. The less the better IMO. Also, the "Dash+InstantX=Refreshment" is great. Very readable and impactive but in a friendly way. The one with the cans is more beautiful and dreamy but this one really works as a message I think (without the redundant top and bottom banners that is  Wink  )

P.S. I like Design 1 much more - too many colours in the other one. The blue shades is cool.

There is 591 DASH available, the simple solution would be to do a proposal for that amount so the whole budget can be allocated. The difference is small 60 DASH that we can fund separate or later. Otherwise the 590 DASH would no be created. This way we can have full budget allocation this month which would be nice.

It is also good alternative design! But I insist we need a "www.dash.org" somewhere on top (as most visible place in crowd).
Because it'll be not Dash's conference, but Bitcoin's - so lots of new people will want to know "What is Dash?"- so we have to give them the direction where to go.

How about the upper sides? Are they otherwise bare and visible?

I can see:
1. Instantx-Soda-Machine - 650 DASH - 21.67%
2. labitconf-adv - 1,500 DASH - 18.7%

So... Is there a risk of labitconf-adv won't be compensated (1500 DASH won't be created)? ... Seems like there is some space to improve the budget allocation algorithm...

labitconf-adv is an old proposal, it was already paid and it will not be paid ever again. Maybe we should continue the conversation in dashtalk, not to disturb the conversation here.

The only issue with the soda machine proposal is it exceeds the available budget by 60 DASH, that is all. To be honest proposal owner should have checked when making the proposal what was the availability. Solution is simple just do a new one for 590 DASH and done, the difference is small, no need to make it a big deal.

Really? Someone just threw 1 million coins into the market? Please point me to which exchange, because I can't seem to find it and would love to buy at such an amount of liquidity. I'd also like to know when that "premine" supposedly happened.

Oh... Good... That means the coin has now dealt out the last of those coins and is no longer a topic.  Finally we can move on to other more relevant topics.

Unfortanately the "591-soda-machine" was a little bit too big for the next super block and will not be paid. Due to this I've went ahead and submitted a new proposal called "590-soda-machine", which will definitely fit in the next budget. For future reference, here's how I figured out out the spacing.

The command "mnbudget projection" will give you the exact budget that will be paid if the budget was finalized right now. From this command, from this command you can look at the last "TotalBudgetAlloted", which represents the total amount that will be allocated and paid in the next super block. Currently this amount is 7432.26000000. I've also added a new command in the v13-evo branch on our main github, "mnbudget nextbudgetsize", this will calculate the next budget superblock size.

mnbudget nextbudgetsize == 802285689600
mnbudget totalbudgetalloted == 7432.26000000

802285689600-7432.26000000 = 59059689600 (590.59 DASH)

So now we have an excess of .59 DASH, I think we're good Wink

Ps: this is exactly how the budget system was intended to be used and work! It's really exciting to see us filling up the budgets to their exact allowed amount and prioritizing what we're doing. I'll also try to improve the commands for getting this type of information from the budget system, it's a real pain at the moment, but I see what needs to be done.

Please vote!

mnbudget vote cf26e6b9bca96048c8fc9ff48f3dbbc3eeb80c19ebc895c2bc13b6f4525170f9 yes
