It drives me crazy that they write such inaccurate information! It was cpu minable at first, not gpu! I guess I expect too much from journalists. Even scientific articles are riddled with half understood mumbo jumbo which comes out totally inaccurate. Ugh! What the heck? "Only by breaking all 11 algorithms would give hackers a chance to seize power over the network." I mean.... am I too picky? I can't read this stuff when it's obvious that the writer doesn't know what the heck s/he is talking about?? Maybe I'm too stressed today.... Yah, I'm being a total butt, it was a nice article otherwise, and this was cool: Perhaps China will pay more attention to DASH especially as in colloquial Chinese the word DASH (世币) sounds like "a coin of the world" or "the world currency".

and small tipo : "In 2016 Evan Daffild and developers are going to submit the Evolution" That would be the correct pronunciation in Inverness, Scotland. but I suspect a minority of readers come from there so better give them a poke. Yeah, I messaged them on Twitter to change that.

Can the OP be updated to include a link to the official .onion of www.dash.org for Tor users? good thinking pinged the 'boss' Cool! It's there now. http://dashorg64cjvj4s3.onionAnd it works perfectly without javascript, too! (a must for Tor users). -------------- Bonus info: For those who are security conscious, using the tor browser and connecting directly to Dash's onion site to download pre-compiled Dash Core or Electrum-Dash binaries is an easier way to guarantee no "man in the middle," compared to downloading with a regular browser and going through a somewhat complicated GPG key import and signature verification process. (And if you're extra paranoid, you can download with the onion link and also verify its signature). This is because a .onion address is not fakeable. Just like crypto, the onion is a unique address for which only the owner holds the private key. This allows end-users to have a trustable direct connection to the site owner without reliance on third-party SSL (https) or DNS servers.

Cool, it appears that those symbols mean that but it is not clear to me why those symbols are used for Dash. It does not appear to be based on the sound or meaning of the word. That's just me googling though, I don't know anything about Chinese.

just saw that too - how do you spend them so fast coming out of a ATM - how do these vending machines work then 0 confirmations i guess ?! Here are a few bullet points. Of course, we need to know our competition. - Check out 1:19. A mysterious frame skip. I suspect that was a bitcoin block time warp, but not necessarily.
- The purchase was 0 confirmation. Maybe Peter Todd can demonstrate his point again and fill his belly with some double spend snacks.
- I would estimate the ATM and 2 BTC transaction fees to get that $1 into the machine is about $0.35....sorry doesn't sound as cool now does it?
- They certainly don't have Moocowmoo coding that machine. What they are trying to do with Bitcoin in 8 seconds, Moocowmoo is able to do much more with Dash in less than a second.

Your guess is as good as anyone at the moment. I do expect a media article soon with cryptsy representatives claiming they are poor as church mice. A bit like these guys - http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2014/05/embattled-ceo-of-bitcoin-miner-firm-we-are-as-poor-as-church-mice/has there been any attempts to locate the crypsty DASH wallet? I remember we were all keeping tabs in this thread on the mintpal DRK wallet

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
