Dash Passes Litecoin and Monero to Claim Number 4 Cryptocurrency Status
Dash cмeщaeт Litecoin и Monero и cтaнoвитcя нoмepoм 4 в cтaтyce кpиптoвaлют

B ocнoвнoм pocтe цeн Dash пoчти yдвoил pынoчнyю кaпитaлизaцию зa пpoшлый мecяц, нacтигнyв Litecoin и Monero, чтoбы cтaть чeтвepтoй caмoй цeннoй кpиптoвaлютoй.
Ha этoй нeдeлe oдин гoд нaзaд Dash был кpиптoвaлютoй № 7 c pынoчнoй кaпитaлизaциeй пpиблизитeльнo $23 млн. Этo чиcлo пocтoяннo pocлo в тeчeниe гoдa, зaкaнчивaя гoд c pынoчнoй кaпитaлизaциeй $69 млн и пoддepжaлo paнг № 7. B тeчeниe 2017 дo cиx пop, oднaкo, pocт DASH знaчитeльнo нaбpaл xoд, пpeвышaющий $100 млн зa янвapь. B этoм мecяцe DASH пoвыcилcя дo pынoчнoй кaпитaлизaции бoлee $200 млн, в нacтoящee вpeмя co cтoимocтью бoлee чeм 27$ и 0,23 в Bitcoin.

But it was a few hours, now Dash is no.5 again, sad to see, but no.5 is still good, because months ago, dash was at no.7.

I can't get my Dash Electrum wallet to work, what's the quickest / easiest wallet I can import its private keys into?

Not Jaxx apparently; if there's a way to import a private key into there I can't find it.

Why is it that the electrum wallet seems to have just been dropped with no warning anyway? Its not on dash.org anymore, its stopped working and I can barely find any reference to it anywhere - but I never saw any announcement that it wasn't going to work any more.

Electrum is different, as it uses determinate addresses from a seed. you can find the project here: https://electrum-dash.org/

Thanks, seems like there's no solution except importing the keys into the core wallet so I guess I'm just going to have to wait for that to sync, which with my computer will probably take 6 months, lol.

Dash wallet is speed of light comparing to bitcoin's. And you can edit your post, no need to post 3 times.

I get this now with my MN:

Warning: Your masternode version (120100) is behind the official version (120102). This is from DASHcentral.

I am running 12.1 so do I need to upgrade again. I just updated last week...??

and go through the update procedure and reset my time and loose rewards etc.

I don't run any on dashcentral. Do you run your remote node (vps) there? It should be taken care of by them. You don't have to start-alias your mn from local. It's simple update and you won't lose your rewards.

No, I run my own on a VPS, I just use Dashcentral to monitor the MN. So, is it just a matter of replacing the dashd on the server? what about sentinel?

If you're running a linux box, install the dashman utility.

https://github.com/moocowmoo/dashman

It's soooo easy for us "lazy" masternode owners that I don't know why I wasn't using it before 12.1.  Right Icey???  Proof of ping LOL.

Dashman upgrades Sentinel also.  It took about 5 minutes to upgrade my masternodes to the latest version.

+1 Dashman is one of the most awsome additions to this ecosystem. I only discovered it recently as well. Another plus for Dash's monetary design and placing monetary priorities at the forefront:

Running a node in Bitcoin: Boring as sh*, nobody wants to do it.
Running a node in Litecoin: Boring as sh*, nobody wants to do it.
Running a node in Monero: Boring as sh*, nobody wants to do it.
Running a node in Dash: Technically interesting, socially engaging and economically profitable.....people are trampling over each other to do it Wink

Haha yes!  I have a few.  Grin

The longest part is waiting for the blockchain to resync after it restarts dashd.  I always run "dashman status" to verify that everything is green before moving on to the next MN.
