I send some dash (only 20 of 40 dash I have) from poloniex to kraken.
I look at their trading interface but did not understand anything.
in polo, I seee everthing, chart, depth chart, orderbook and all on one page and can click any price on orderbook to select it, but on kraken I did not understand how it works. maybe I am too noob to trade there.
Now I am transfering back to poloniex.
I am not a trader, I have a small GPU rig that I mine on nicehash and convert the BTC to DASH on poloniex.
But I think it's good for kraken added dash. I do not want to say their trading interface is bad, just I did not understand. And their new beta trading interface looks nice but not usable with slow connection.

I occasionally use Kraken but they have big troubles when it comes to trading. Their trade engine is too slow and especially during big price movements it could happen that you aren't able to place an order. The thing I like is just how easy and quick is to send SEPA transfers in/out so I mainly use it to buy BTC to hold or when I need to exchange some of them for cash. Overall I think it is good for DASH to have more ways to exchange them directly with FIAT. |

http://www.theblockchain.nz/Just been invited to attend this event in New Zealand basically for free! So excited because I haven't been to this type of exchange of ideas in a long time. Looked at the line up of speakers and wish there was someone from the dash community or dash anything to represent... i will watch and take note and hopefully develop some ideas to potentially pitch a proposal someday to the dash.org group or effectively represent dash down here in New Zealand

Did we fund this? It's an academic article, albeit one somewhat associated with Zcash developers. The findings scan legitimate to me, but I'm sure it will be ignored by XMR communities. |

Did we fund this? DASH has no involvement with that. Near the bottom of the document it states: "Acknowledgement. Andrew Miller is supported in part by the Initiative for Cryptocurrencies and Contracts. Arvind Narayanan is supported by NSF Awards CNS-1421689 and CNS-1651938." I've never heard of the "Initiative for Cryptocurrencies and Contracts". Anyone have an idea? EDIT: nevermind. Google knows all!  http://www.initc3.org/about.html |

I find it amusing that people think academic research is funded by rival cryptocurrencies.
There is an extensive academic research agenda on crypto, numbering in 500+ papers for Bitcoin alone, and none of it has much to do with the generalist politics that we stumble about with day to day.

Well, surprisingly, that report isn't effecting the price of Monero 'far as I can see? I honestly wish someone would do this for Dash. I'm sure there are weaknesses, and I'd like to know exactly what they are and what we can do about them??!!
