Anyone know why the new wallett isnt syncing?

I updated yesterday, it synced pretty fast, woke up now and it just wont bother even after a restart.

I just redownloaded the QT, deleted everything except wallet.dat and it gets stuck at the same point @ 16 hours left. Does it have anything to do with the fork?

Someone mentioned adding these nodes a few pages back when other people were having the same problem:

I can't say that they'll work, because it sounds like I did the same thing you did and mine didn't have a problem syncing.

Ty anyway will try it.

OK have now deleted and redownloaded blockchain TWICE with new Windows client, and TWICE stuck on Block 34110.  Will sync fine up to that point and then will not move, even after waiting several hours and after adding the above nodes.

Any method of directly downloading the full blockchain to get past this hump?

Same happens to me, stuck on the same block as you.

r/bitcoin sad trolls jumped on the article and calling everyone a bot who upvotes it.

Please don't post DRK articles again on that subreddit, will only hurt the cause.

1 - Download again the wallet @ darkcoin.io (seems that it has been updated several times) [Check your version with Help > About > Version : v0.9.0.0-unk-beta]
2 - Erase everything except wallet.dat in the .\roaming\darkcoin folder
3 - Start darkcoin-qt.exe

You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.

For anyone else having issues, I can confirm there is no hanky-panky going on with this file (per VirusTotal).  All caught up now to Block 34615!

Thank you for your service to the community!

Your reject rate seems way too high.

You might be doing this already, but if you stop submitting stale shares, it won't happen.

Add no-submit-stale or something to your config.

how do you defend against attackers who try to DOS by requesting to be part of a joined transaction but then fail to sign off on the transaction? This is the big problem with coinjoin that prevents it from scaling well. have you guys solved it somehow?
There is a penalty for leaving the connection before the darksend completes.

And how does that work?

You put up a collateral transaction that only the current master node can cash to get into the pool. If you misbehave in any way, the master node will cash it. Each time that costs 0.1DRK, so it could add up pretty quick if you're attacking it.

Masternode's are chosen randomly using a deterministic algorithm that can't be tampered with. This has a nice side effect, people will want to run full nodes to get the random fees. So we should have a pretty strong base of nodes.

what prevents masternodes from being dishonest?

Anyone having trouble opening the Ubuntu-QT version of the hardfork client? I can't get it to open on Mint or Ubuntu.

./darkcoin-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libminiupnpc.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I have libminiupnpc8 installed from the repos on both flavors - Ubuntu 12.04 and Mint 16.

Any ideas why I'm being banned every now and then from drkpool?

Me or the pool?

Your config file must not be a good setup,  your rejects should never ever be above 1.5-2% total.

You are losing money on electricity and losing coins you could have if your set up

Looks like you have 2- 280x's. Correct?

Is so, your intensity is way too high.  Most people have their intensity at around 13-15.

out of several rigs all using the same set-up and configs, this rig is the only one playing up. I'm wonder if I should try a pool server closer to the UK:

Like I said, every now and then there is a bunch of rejects that lead to this rig being banned from drkpool.
