FUD on $DASH last year was over for many months and $DASH need to rocket booster to take off again. OBV shows it is a beginning. Investors are in more hurry to accumulate DASH for their masternodes in past several months.

What news will be a rocket booster for $DASH?

No clue what "bruz and a targeted one" means sort of an attack I guess.
Well not to exclude since my old bitcointalk account is hacked and i sure did some Masternode setup talk with mocowmoo.

But then there is nothing to gain for any attacker. I detect it (Pose goes up) and reset the server and it doesn't break payouts.
It's just an annoyance.

Guess I will do shedule a reset for each week maybe even can automate it.

What can be.. Mocowmoo still hasn't shut down his masternode hosting for my nodes. There are running partly with same masternode addresses but different BLS keys and just in an error state.

However the most "attacked one" I set up brand new including moveing the collateral. Can be I recycled the BSL key which is not used on mocowmoo sides but however might have to be communicated in my hacked account can't entierly exclude that.

Whatever... if it becomes too annyoing I will set up the nodes fresh. Thanks for the input.

Is anything going on in this coin anymore ?

There seem to be about 9 or 10 threads on dash.org forums started in 2021, all with very polite titles.

This was a very good coin with great potential. But its place amongst the monetary system protocols had to be understood and appropriately levered to succeed. Instead our business model got characterised as "how to create a coin as cheaply as possible". Now we can't even surf the bitcoin wave and match our fully mined competitors.

How much do folks need their noses rubbed in the mud to realise that the Dash protocol is wrongly configured ?

Setuping a MN via Electrum-Dash works fine.
It enables creating the MN with multisig too.

Firstly, I don't think more listings would rise the price, we need more hype and excitement to push the price up, things like integrations and more development will do that, secondly, I don't want to be part of a coin that appeases regulators.  Cryptocurrency is a financial disruptor, it is the regulators that need to adjust not us.  You sound like you are still stuck in 2015, trading is moving to the DEXes where AML/KYC FATF don't exist, instead of carrying on with this nonsense, you should look to ways we get DASH onto them and route around the issue.

Just trying to get docker to install is a feat in itself. Proving impossible. End up spending hours on stackexchange and askubuntu. Unable to fetch some archives etc.

yeah, the masternode zeus does not require docker, it runs the dashd directly on the hardware.  If you have an existing node, all you need to do is copy/paste the bls from your existing dash.conf, reinstall a fresh ubuntu 20 LTS over your current setup and download and run the zeus as per the instructions, when prompted just paste in your BLS key and the node will sync and come back up no issues.

It sounds cool and easy to use. Why don't Dashcore adopt it over dashmate as the "official" utility ? Installed Ubuntu 20.10 on a brand new volume, followed Dashmate instructions to a T but "npm install --lts" () just returns  "sh: 18: nvm: not found". All downhill from there so dashmate's a show stopper. (It's nvm install --lts in the main documentation and npm install in the github instructions)  .

I know you're a cool dude who's integrity is unimpeachable, but is using utilities from random 3rd party's a good idea for installing core node operating code ? Just asking

What's the diff between Zeus and Dashmate ? You wrote it ?

Yes, I wrote it.  The difference is it doesn't use docker/npm, both of which a major pain.  DCG want to go with DASH=MATE because they are using the same technology to run the evo services, so they figured they would write the installer in the same stuff.  I think both tools can be available for people to choose which they want to use.  There is very little risk using the Masternode Zeus (DMZ) because the node doesn't really keep any secrets and certainly no coins, you can review the code too, I think it is easier to assess than the DASH=MATE code. If you end up using DMZ, let me know how it went.
