Dash only ever had one advantage over bitcoin. That was to decouple the mining protocol from the service protocol so that mining could be maximiseed while providing services.

That advantage has been destroyed by the masternode community voting to convert a viable capital asset into a revenue cash-cow for themselves.

Absolute nonsense, Tok!  The initative you speak of helped green DASH (yes, DASH is more environmentally friendly now :leaf:) and reduced the amount of tokens the miners have to sell, thus reducing sell pressure on their end all the while increasing the attractiveness of DASH as an investment for those seeking a passive income on their DASH holdings via a shared Masternode service such as https://crowdnode.io/ or a trustless one with a 1000 DASH.

...I think that theory has been well and truly trounced by now. What matters is not "sell pressure" in any particular market but NET sell pressure and as has been demonstrated amply, miners are not NET sellers. Masternodes are.

( A NET seller is an entity who sells without having to buy first or otherwise competitively acquire their coin stock. So they contribute only sell pressure and no compensating buy pressure).

Exciting news dropped on Friday as the Dash Investment Foundation revealed the long-anticipated announcement about financial services company Valkyrie. Valkyrie, which runs a Bitcoin Trust, is in talks for a Bitcoin ETF. Although that is their focus for the moment, multiple Dash-related products, even a Dash ETF, could be possible for Dash with this announcement. The new DashPay wallet looks sexy AF.

It's been a long wait for a lot of us, but everything I've seen so far regarding DashPay looks really great.

Dash is very close to setting a new standard in terms of crypto user experience.

All the basic use cases are entirely functional on testnet.

Testing is about to move into the final round, where additional functionality such as 'invitations' will be tested.

Obviously the teams are still working out the final kinks, but it's looking gooooood.

I don't see any reason at the moment why Dash Platform & DashPay (MVP) wouldn't be fully ready by Q4 2021.

You must be confusing me with someone else.  The last time (before a few weeks ago) i Bought Dash, it was called Darkcoin and i bought it on Mintpal, around 2014, 2015...  and sold it just before it first ever mega pump, that does still haunt me, would have made me four figure BTC even if i just hold sold 50% of the Mega Pump.  Anyhow...

Just to put the record straight.  Im not calling Dash a Scam, any coin alive and kicking since 2013+ gets a thumbs up from me, but any sign its partnering or promoting Scam sites, it gets dropped like a hot potatoe. 

FACTS that CloudBet is a scammy as they come, i hope everyone here avoid it like the plague. Just have to look at the hundreds of reviews from the poor bastards that lost money there.

@Nthenight tells me I should be more active in this forum, I left it 5 years or more ago because of manipulation of this thread by mods (it was our only source of history, and they deleted a whole bunch of it to create a new narrative) and because of people like the dufus that posted above this.  But OK, I'll try coming back.

BTW Dash is one of the only coins that is NOT a shit coin.  In fact, the most important thing about Dash is that development is NOT funded by any 3rd party like all other cryptos, but rather funded by the structure of the network rewards and voted on how to allocate those funds via vote which is influenced by the community at large.  Anyone can participate.  Of course it goes much deeper than that.
