Now they are jumping on the bandwagon, but with a twist so that they don't admit their mistake.

Yes, maybe, who cares if "they" admit it or not, but isn`t this stealth adress concept interesting? And again...my original question...I am not programmer, but couldn`t it be made an option with DRK? I`d like a coin with this feature and I would prefer having ONE having both features and yes, I`d be fine if the coin was DRK.

PS:
Sometimes many discussions here remind me discussions with gold bugs who do not like silver bugs who do not like bitcoin bugs who do not like altcoin bugs...it`s almost like the factions in the Life of Brian.

It's interesting but DRK is past that point of privacy - it now aims for higher levels due to the pressure from Bytecoin and Zerocoin. Evan could implement stealth addresses at some point I guess... it shouldn't be too much work compared to creating DarkSend.

PS. Or goldbugs/silverbugs who don't like bitcoin-bugs and vice versa, lol.

Those of you who never owned significant assets before may not realise what you own. Don't give up your darks for chump change. Open the EYES.
I like that phrase "significant asset". Very good descriptor.  And clearly the fact that we are staying up here after such an amazing rally tells me there are many large investors quietly and consistently buying up DRK being sold for "chump change".
These large investors will need to boost their offer price by 500x to get 1 DRK out of me. Yes, 500x. FTW
JL
In a rational world, where businesses saw the obvious (to me) advantages of accepting DRK over 'traditional' - and very costly - payment solutions, I'd never have to sell my DRK, I'd be spending it directly, not propping up other inferior currencies with it...

DGW rocks. This coin is never going to be out of a common man's reach in terms of mining like BTC Asics have done to BTC. Sure you won't get many DRKs but DGW will not allow rapage and on any given day you can mine some duffs.

Just on the off chance, are you Nr.1?
Nope not Mr./Mrs. XosX. I'm probably number 1,000 or 2,000. Being from the investment biz though I know how to think like Number 1.

I own a DASH Masternode.... And you should too.

Yeah and imagine how much electricity it would cost!

I think DRK has grown too fast, it has to level out soon, its totally unmineable at the moment, a month ago i could get 4 dark per day at 4 MH!

This may very well push the price of DRK up, but even so the price increase is not enough to cover miners costs.

We need ASICS now or else people will stop mining.

Technically, I see no reason why darkcoin should be worth less than litecoin. I have not touched mintpal in more than 2 months!

No we dont, and no they wont. Remember that not every one here is for the same reasons you are (make a profit), some people are here for the ideology of the coin and will mine as they see the greater scheme of things and are not blinded by profit like yourself.

I concur, miners please raise your prices to cover your costs + whatever margin you see as fair.  Wink
