I think hatred, pretentiousness and even contempt from others (not necessarily from a specific coin community) was the reason behind how a lot of the guys here bonded together and identified themselves with the developers and each other. Some don't understand this and how determined the people in this thread are. Personally I'd go with any developer who puts his name out there and takes responsibility over the cloners even if I lose BTC not indulging in PnDs.

I totally agree with you here, but along with that, I must say I see so much happening with this coin in the near future, and it's all because of the Masternodes.  This is turning out to be quite brilliant.  But I guess not too many people understand it.  And they don't seem to understand that ring signatures have a fatal flaw (bloat) and that there are other ways to get 100% anonymity. 

And no, I don't think this is a pump.  I do think the price will roller coaster because people get panicked.  However, the worth of this coin goes way beyond what it costs at the moment if even half of the ideas come to pass.

It's like someone said earlier.  We're buying into the developer more so than the coin.  And yes, Evan has dazzled us with his ability, his quickness, his openness to change things, even if he has to throw out all his code and redo it.  He just does it.  He's nothing short of amazing IMO.  And that has us so stoked, a lot of us don't even care about any other coin.  Every time I go to look at a coin, like Monero, I get that creepy scammy feeling, whether or not
they're intentional scams.  It's how I feel now because I have really been spoiled with Evan.
